Tony Branco

Tony currently performs weekly as pianist for many corporate functions in Las Vegas and throughout the Western U.S., as well as pianist for Walt Blanton's group, "Monuments" and John Nasshan's quintet, "Quintessence". He has performed for major corporations such as: Ascics Corp., General Motors Chevrolet, Southwest Bell, IBM Pacific Rim, Coca Cola, et.al. Tony has also performed for Steve Wynn, Diana Ross, Lou Rawls, President George Bush Sr., President Bill Clinton, Prince Rainier and Princess Grace of Monaco. Tony has also performed with Miles Davis alum " Philly " Joe Jones, Ron Carter, Harvey Mason, Phil Woods, Kenny Burrell, and Susan Anton.
In addition to Tony's extensive performance schedule, he is also adjunct professor of jazz studies at University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Tony holds a Bachelor of Music degree, in Jazz Performance and a Master of Music degree in Composition, both from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. A Liberace Scholar, his group, Coalition, took first place for four year college ensembles at the Reno Jazz festival two years consecutively, in 2002, and 2003.
In February of 2008, Tony along with Walt Blanton, trumpet, and John Nasshan, drums recorded and released their first album on Origin Records, Walt Blanton's " Monuments ", which is currently receiving radio airplay and excellent reviews worldwide.
