Description

A 10-year veteran of the New England music scene, Tim Butterworth fuses musical experience with youthful energy in every performance. Having played at high-class venues all over the region for everything from subdued cocktail hours to full-production rock shows, he can tailor his individual style and repertoire to fit whatever your event requires. A 2005 graduate of the Berklee College of Music, Tim has been a weekly performer at events as diverse as the Legal Seafood's Sunday Jazz Brunch, Jake Ivory's world-famous dueling piano show, and numerous traditional and contemporary church services. Knowing what each situation requires is key to an event's success, and Tim has demonstrated time and again that he is capable of adapting to any musical environment, no matter how unusual or specialized. He performs weekly at venues ranging from dueling piano bars to wedding ceremonies, both as a solo artist and with full bands. Capable of handling any musical style required, he will make your event's entertainment the very best it can be.

Feedback

  • Tim played at a wedding today that I planned for a couple, and I was extremely happy with his professionalism and deliverance. Thirty min before the start of the wedding, there were some last minute changes so he was thrown some new pieces to play, but it wasn't an issue for him. His flexibility to adapt and accommodate to those changes made the rehearsal flow so fluid. His performance was light, beautiful, and jazzy, but the best part was that he played in a way that didn't steal the thunder away from the bride and groom. It was all so effortless! I received many compliments, and I would highly recommend him for any event. Thank you, Tim, for everything today! -- Joyce K, Los Angeles, CA, 11/12/2011
  • Tim did a great job. I didn't get a chance to let him know how happy we both were with his work. Please pass along our thank you. He was fantastic. -- Bob M, Millis, MA, 5/27/2006
  • Tim did a great job and I was very pleased with him and the Gigmeister service. -- Barry I, Boston, MA, 3/25/2006
  • I can strongly recommend Tim and his talents to everyone. He was hired 'sight unseen'. The only information available was on Gigmasters. We took a chance and it worked out beautifully. We had a professional singer/actress friend from Broadway at the event. She sang two songs accompianed by Tim. They too hadn't met before that day. Personally, I direct and appear in many shows (mostly musicals)and I would hire Tim Butterworth in a heartbeat. Gigmasters is very fortunate to have Tim on their list. Sincerely, Jim Grana -- James G, Burlington, MA, 4/5/2006
