About Matthew Kern
Matthew Kern has provided music for hundreds of
weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, private parties
and corporate events over the past ten years at nearly
every Portland-area venue with a piano.
He has an instantly recognizable style that encompasses
many musical genres and eras from jazz and pop
standards to rock classics and contemporary hits of
today. His versatility makes him the perfect choice for
music lovers of all ages and the ideal musician for any
style of event from the most traditional to the most
casual. Matthew’s playing is unobtrusive and yet
engaging, with an intuitive sense of timing and reading
the atmosphere, he can fluidly customize his set to be
