Liana Gheorghita has been featured at musical events for almost forty years. Liana entertains audiences with piano music everyone loves.
Liana's repertoire includes the entire play of Broadway, among them includes Les Miserable, Phantom at the Opera, Cabaret, Chicago, Oklahoma, My fair Lady, Sound of Music, Porgy & Bess, Evita etc. As part of the cocktail repertoire she also includes Movie themes/Love songs, 60's, 70's and New Age (Yanni,Josh Groban,A.Boccelli,David Lanz ). Liana also plays classical music in the Baroque, Classical & Romantic period.
Liana provides music for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, dinner parties - social gatherings of all types and sizes. She loves to perform and delights in being among those who love piano music.
Liana has been playing piano since she was 6 years old and has had numerous International competitions like: Chamber School Orchestra Dijon-France Gold Disque Ist prize Prize 1977, School Choir "Camerata Infantis" Vienna- Austria Bronze Cup III Prize 1979 & Technical National Competition Bucharest Romania Bronze 1981. She has performed in soloist concerts even as early as the age of 12, when she selected to perform with Brasov (Romanian) Philharmonic Orchestra ,Concerto in D by J. Haydn, Concerto in B flat by W.A. Mozart, and Concerto in C min by W.A. Mozart. Liana is a participant of First Prize, Gold Cup of the International Competition of Longhlehlon, Wales with the Brasov ,Chamber and Philarmonic Orchestra/Choir,1990.
In United States she has worked for Carnival Cruise lines for 5 years with numerous customer and staff letter of recommendations.
