Kit Taylor is an undiscovered gem. Handsome and charismatic with a beautiful and soulful baritone.
An award-winning Pianist and Singer/Songwriter, Kit is also involved in modeling, acting, and writing.
"Kit is a blend of John Mayer and Jamie Cullum, but with better pitch"
- Bob Stark (Everclear, Esperanza Spalding), award-winning engineer/producer.
Just in the past few months, Kit has toured with King Clifton - opening for internet and Billboard sensation AWOLNation (Sail) on a West Coast tour; joined legendary cellist Dave Eggar (Evanescence, Bruce Springsteen) for a performance also featuring stunning New York vocalist Sasha Lazard; and accompanied the exotic Shoshana Bean (Broadways 'Godspell' and 'Wicked') onstage for a benefit performance. Shoshana also had a hit on Billboard with her single "Superhero".
"Kit Taylor plays with great emotion and depth. From what I have heard he has a wonderful insight into music."
- David Friesen, Academy Award nominated recording artist.
Over the past few years Kit has played at venues throughout the country, worked with and been interviewed by multiple press outlets, and been associated with names such as Lifehouse, The Neville Brothers, Kansas, Hall & Oates, Blessed Union Of Souls, LIVE, Jim Brickman, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, among others.
With the band Safire, Kit just released a single he wrote called "Half A Man". It's a rock/fusion opus featuring a deliciously funky groove and some luscious harmonies, as well as Steve Killen's ridiculously crushing electric guitar.
Kit also just released a solo piano album, "Evolution", recorded by award-winning engineer and Producer Bob Stark. It's currently available on iTunes and all major music outlets.
Currently working towards an appearance on NBC's "The Voice", there is always more to the story. See the "Resumes" page on his website or contact Kit for more details.
"One year later and 'One Trick Man' still makes me smile as much as any Weather Report tune I've ever heard."
- Bob Stark (Everclear, Esperanza Spalding) , award-wining engineer, on Kit's band 'Intervision'.

Feedback
- Kit Taylor exceeded our hopes, and expectations with his talent and performance for our event. He is professional, with the perfect dose of friendly! He is attentive to the listeners, and adapts almost instantly with the crowd. He takes requests or just plays crowd pleasing music. (this is what I refer to with adapts instantly). He was punctual and independent, this allowed me to just enjoy being a host with my guests!
Thank you Kit Taylor!
We could not have asked for more. -- Dawn S, Portland, OR, 10/8/2011
- Kit played my company's annual holiday party and provided a mix of holiday favorites and contemporary songs. He was willing/able to take requests from the crowd and we were very pleased with his talent and performance. -- Leslie L, Seattle, WA, 12/9/2011
- We hired Kit Taylor to play at our wedding reception. We were very pleased with his performance and professionalism. Neither my now husband or I are big dancers so we knew we didn’t want a DJ. The piano was the perfect background music for our evening reception. I don’t think there were any special requests so I didn’t rate him high in this area, though I know he is known for his extensive repertoire and ability to play whatever is asked of him. I would recommend him to anyone looking for more classy wedding music, something for guests to enjoy as they dine and visit. -- Marissa P, Walla Walla, WA, 3/17/2012
- Kit did an outstanding job for us. Not only is he talented, but he is accommodating and goes with the flow. He had fun with our guests, let them do some requests, and even sang during our ceremony with one of our friends who is a vocalist. We could not have asked for a better fit for the type of wedding we had! A huge thanks to him and his ability to transform an event. -- Samantha A, Walla Walla, WA, 4/27/2012
- Kit Taylor was exceptional! He came prepared to our ceremony and performed beautifully. His song list for our reception was perfect, and exactly what we were looking for on our special day. He was prompt, courteous, and very entertaining in a way that was befitting of our vision for the event. I would recommend Kit to friends/relatives looking for a pianist for their event. -- Meghan D, Kelso, WA, 5/20/2011
- Kit was amazing for our Nov 20,2010 wedding! He was very quick with responding to me and was able to accommodate every request I made, even after changing my mind numerous times of what I wanted! Everyone commented at the event how amazing his music was, he was flawless and his voice sounded great! We were so impressed with him from the start, he was really on top of getting back to me, being flexible with each request and open to playing anything we wanted! At the event, he was punctual, well dressed, professional and his performance was even better than we could have imagined! I would use him again and would definitely recomend him to friends! -- Stephanie B, Tacoma, WA, 11/20/2010
- Kit was professional, personable and very talented on piano. He was happy to play whatefver guests requested and tolerated our singing along. I was completely satisfied with the performance. I would hire him again and I would recommend him to others as well.
