Description

Kim is glad to be back on Gigmasters after six months of study and teaching, to make your event unforgettable with a tremendous repertoire of songs and holiday music. She has experience in ALL TYPES OF WEDDINGS-INDOOR AND OUTDOOR. HER DIGITAL PIANO WITH GRAND PIANO SOUND IS EASILY TRANSPORTED ANYWHERE-- Featured performer at David Tutera Bridal Event!!

People have described her music as the "perfect blend of style and grace". Kim is a solo pianist that will perform ambient/background piano music to create an elegant and relaxing atmosphere for you and your guests. If ceremonial wedding or anniversary music is your desire, Kim can accommodate all sizes and types of ceremonies (either indoor or outdoors). She has an extensive repertoire that covers a wide variety of styles and genres. Because of her dedication to the study of music, she can add the nuances necessary to set her music apart from other performers with professionalism and style. She does not accompany singers or instrumentalists, as her piano playing is all that is necessary to relax and entertain.

Kim has graduated with Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania where her major instrument of study was the piano. She has a Master of Science Degree in Education from St. Francis University, and a second teaching certification in Elementary Education. She has also studied privately with Jimmie Amadie (of Woody Herman fame), and taken courses in Music Therapy (the study of how music can help heal the body). She has taught music and directed choral groups for many years in the Public School System, and was also involved in "The Building Bridges Through Art Smart Program", a study of "arts infused education" through Penn State University. Her extensive educational experience, has also included a television spot directing the musical portion of an original children's composition. Playing the piano, though, is her passion, and this is quite evident when hearing her music.

From the first contact with Kim, you will know that the music for your event will be special, as she will guide you through each step of the planning to accommodate your needs, and if need be, offer helpful suggestions.

She has performed extensively for private weddings, anniversary parties, holiday parties, and special events. She has been hired by the owners and managers of resorts, restaurants, and golf clubs to perform during dinner hours, brunches, special events, and holiday celebrations. She was also a featured performer at the David Tutera Bridal Event in Pittsburgh.

Kim has an impeccable work ethic and wishes to make your event special. If there is specific music that you desire not in her repertoire, she will be happy to add your special request to her song list. She also has an extensive list of holiday songs, and is able to provide either an ambient or sing-a-long format for your corporate event or party! She will perform on the piano at the venue of your event, or she is able to bring her digital piano (with grand piano sound) and keyboard amplifier for indoor or outdoor settings. Outdoor and nontraditional weddings and events are always welcomed!! No event is ever too large or too small. If your desire is a "class act", Kim will provide the music you need to make your event unforgettable!!
