With 15 years of experience, I offer a wide variety of music and a professional touch to any event. I hold both a Bachelors and Masters degree in piano performance. This training has allowed me absolute flexibility within any genre of music including: classical, opera, jazz, standards, broadway, novelty songs, funk, R & B, pop, rock, stride, TV themes, improvisation - you name it. I love it all and that comes through in my playing.I have an extensive music library at my disposal - no request is too small. If I don't have it, I will find it. I own professional, reliable equipment. I have performed in diverse settings including: concert halls, private homes, vineyards, churches, synagogues, restaurants, schools, community centers, recording studios and more. What you can expect from me: professionalism, flexibility, a positive attitude and a keen sense for choosing the right repertoire for any event. Kathryn was extremely professional and very easy to work with. On our first meeting to go over my wedding ceremony songs, she came over with two entire CDs of song suggestions, which impressed me greatly. I ended up using most of the songs that she suggested. The overall process in dealing with Kathryn has the best experience ever and I would definitely hire her again for future events. I enjoy her easy going and fun personality, which was very refreshing during the whole wedding process and dealing with diffcult vendors. Kathryn performed for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour and she effortlessly set the tone for a truly elegent and memorable musical wedding celebration at Cicada in Dowtown Los Angles. Her incredibly gracious, accomodating, and kind professional service began with our first communication, and continued without flaw to the final beautiful piece she played on the grand piano. She kindly prepared and rehearsed a piece my niece sang which elevated the ceremony to something I will look back upon as one of my favorite musical moments. We hired Kathryn for our wedding ceremony. We had very specific requests in terms of musical selections and arrangements. When there was a last minute change of songs she handled it with no problem.
