Jim Christenson plays a multitude of styles including classical, pop, rock and roll, show tunes and ragtime that will please audiences of all ages. Whether you're planning a wedding, cocktail hour or a dinner he has the right music for your occasion. He plays music by artists such as Chopin, Debussey, Bach and Beethoven or Gershwin, Sinatra, Scott Joplin, the Beatles, Elton John or Billy Joel. If you need a piano, Jim has a portable keyboard that sounds just like a Steinway! He always friendly, well dressed and aimed to please everybody. Lately he's been giving concerts at some of the local assisted living places. He's been playing at the Normandale Office Park for the last 17 years every december playing Christmas music. He's also played at the Calhoun Beach Club and Numerous private parties and Country Clubs. Jim got his classical training at Augsburg college where he honed his skills on pieces by Rachmaninoff and Chopin. A few years later he played hits of the sixties in a local band called "Jonah and he Whales". You'll be extremely happy with his expertise and professionalism. He'll make your party a hit!
