Jeff Carretto Pianist from Richmond, VA

Originally from Rochester NY, Jeff is a first rate musician with over 20 years of piano playing experience who prides himself on being DIVERSE, PERSONABLE, and PROFESSIONAL. He is an extremely versatile pianist whose repertoire includes Jazz, Pop, Classical, Standards, 1920's-Present Day (Music of the Decades). Jeff has a SONG LIST of well over 600 SONGS and will enthusiastically take requests from guests. If you desire a song he doesn't already know, he'll be happy to learn new material for your event. Jeff has been the recipient of numerous music scholarships and has a degree in music education from Virginia Commonwealth University. In 1999 he was nominated for New York's prestigious Best Young New Musical Artist award. Jeff has performed all across the US from Disneyland to New York City in hundreds of events as a solo artist or in an ensemble/band. He has performed with Grammy Award winning artist Lou Graham, lead singer of the band Foreigner, Bridget Carrington, finalist from ABC' s show Duets, John Deberry, lead singer of the Fatback Band, and has recorded with Nashville recording artist Larry Hubbard. These performances include parties, weddings, corporate events, nightclubs, country clubs, restaurants, festivals, cocktail hours, and holiday events. From 2004-2008 Jeff was the house piano player for Ruth's Chris Steakhouse in Midlothian, Virginia. In NY, he toured the east coast with Nik and the Nice Guys at 19, and has been a member of Richmond area bands Horizon and Spectrum. * As a dedicated professional to his paying customers, Jeff will gladly adhere to all formal or casual dress requests. * To ensure that the atmosphere of your event is continuous, Jeff will perform without breaks. * Punctual and reliable.
