About

Glenn has been delighting audiences at the piano professionally for over 26 years. His 150-page Request Book showcases over 4,000 songs in styles covering jazz, ballads, contemporary, pop, show tunes, movie themes and Broadway hits. He is the resident pianist for the Park Hyatt Carlsbad Resort (formally the Four Seasons) where he entertains almost every Saturday and Sunday from 2-4pm.

In the twelve years that Glenn has resided in San Diego, he has performed at over 350 events. He was the musical director of two San Diego improvisation troupes and is the founder and director of AmateurPianists, a recital series which gives performing opportunities for outstanding non-professional pianists.

Glenn will supply break music and provide a microphone and speaker for your event at no extra charge. This is ideal if you have speeches or singing and need sound amplification. He has a professional keyboard and speaker system which can provide acoustics for small groups to large events of over 500 people.

Glenn believes that your event is as important as you do, so he will personally work with you to ensure that the music turns out just as you expect. The music should compliment and accompany your event so that is both enjoyable and successful.

"We used Glenn for our outdoor wedding so that we could have both ambient music for the ceremony and entertainment during the reception. Glenn was absolutely A+ in his performance. During the ambient portion the music flowed gently – the transitions between songs were buttery smooth and we didn't notice any gaps – it was perfect. For the reception we kicked it up a little bit and Glenn selected a great mix based on our tastes. My wife and I heartily recommend Glenn, he's a master at what he does and we were lucky to have had him." — J. K., September 2007

"Glenn Kramer is fabulous! Vi at La Jolla Village is a 5-star rated Senior Community who only hires the best for our residents. Glenn always adds a touch of class to our events and parties with his gifted piano playing and wonderful personality." — Luanne, B., Care Center Community Relations Manager, Vi Living, July 2010

"We hired Glenn Kramer for an improvisation show because we were aware of his ability to
make up tunes on the spot in a given style. What a difference it made in our show! Besides the fact that the audiences loved that we made up songs to go with his melodies, he added colorful music that suited the styles of our scenework. We were so glad that we chose to
enhance our show by having Glenn there. When he told me that he had composed a classical CD, I had to have that as well. Unbelievable! If he can create and play works like that in addition to making up a jazz number, a rock number, and a torch song for us on the fly, any event I can imagine - from high-brow to bar-crowd - the attendees would love him!" — M. Shapiro, July 2010

"Glenn's music is a perfect enhancement to any engagement. He has a very pleasant and professional demeanor that makes guests feel at home and at ease. He is very accommodating with repertoire, able to play in many different styles. I would highly recommend booking him for any occasion, large or small." — C. Stropes, May 2009

"Glenn is the best. Not only technically fantastic, but entertaining, warm, funny and with an uncanny ability to improvise anything. We've had him play at our parties numerous times and traveled to see him play." — Lee K., December 2009

"Glenn is a master on the piano! He wowed our guests with his command of all genres – from classical to broadway to popular tunes. The audience favorite, and ours, is when he takes requests and improvises an amazingly seamless weave of unexpected and delightful themes. He's also charming and gracious – a wonderful performer!" — Kathy K., January 2010

"As a wedding event designer and planner, Glenn is our first call when a client requests a pianist for their event. Not only is Glenn exceedingly talented, but his sweet personality and professional demeanor make him a pleasure to have at any celebration." — Rebecca G., Red Letter Days, December 2009

"Glenn Kramer is a gifted pianist who brings a unique quality and dimension to every professional engagement and performance. I am a professional pianist and teacher who has had the pleasure of having Glenn play at many parties and celebrations. All who attended were fascinated with his ability to play any requested popular song and his large repertoire of arrangements of popular, semi classical and classical selections. I congratulate Glenn on his success in providing his piano artistry for any occasion with the highest degree of accomplishment." — Richard Warnick, July 2010
