Description

There has never been a better time to add the gift a music to your event! The news is "doom and gloom"....now is the best time to keep a positive outlook! Allow Elaine to play and/or sing and mark your event as "the best ever". Billy Joel once said: "I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music".

I have played piano and organ professionally for more than 20 years. I have played for more weddings than I can count! My passion is to play and sing - entertain. Training includes Bachelor of Piano Performance from the Dana School of Music, Youngstown State Univ and Master's work at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. I currently perform on the Delta Queen Steamboat Company as a permanent sub. On piano I perform all types of music for private as well as corporate events and cocktail parties. Oldies, standards, show tunes, current easy listening pop tunes are just a few of the many sytles requested. I also play either piano or organ for wedding ceremonies. I have had alot of experience on riverboat cruises, so I do ragtime as well. Light classical requests are always available. My voice is a 'Karen Carpenter' style - light and pleasant, relaxing. Performed many events for senior citizen's doing 'sing-a-longs'' and their 1950's favorites and Christmas party sing-a-longs.

Feedback

  • I couldn't be happier with Elaine's services or recommend her highly enough. From the beginning she was very professional and extremely accommodating, and kept in communication with me over five months leading up to my wedding. She learned a new song at my request, came to our rehearsal the night before the event, and did a beautiful job of shortening my selections to time perfectly with the processionals. In the midst of chaotic wedding planning it was wonderful to be able to not have to worry about the music. Elaine is clearly very talented and has a lot of experience, and we were completely satisfied! -- Caitie K, Indianapolis, IN, 10/18/2008

  • Elaine Clark provided two hours of non-stop piano entertainment prior to our reunion dinner on the evening of September 10, 2005. Dressed as a professional she performed in the same fashion. I had asked her to include a repertoire of selections coming from the era of the 1950's. I asked that they not be the "canned" tunes one might expect - such as "Heartbreak Hotel" and "That'll Be The Day." She gladly complied and I must say she chose an eclectic list of songs which was a pleasure to our senses. Miss Clark's performance was intended to be background music and she kept it at that. Still, many in our group made a trip to the piano to compliment her. That only made the attractive smile she wore even brighter. I would not hesitate to have her perform at any function for which I found myself responsible. Thank you, Elaine. You were just right. Lynn Howard Garrard, Class President, Griffith H.S. Class of 1960 -- Lynn G, Schererville, IN, 9/10/2005
  • Elaine did a fantastic job playing the organ at our wedding. She was kind and professional and her years of experience truly show when she gets behind an organ! Everyone was commenting on how beautiful the ceremony music was. She even asked us what the colors of our wedding were and dressed to match. I would definitley recommend Elaine for your next upcoming event!! -- Alysia P, Crawfordsville, IN, 6/20/2009
  • Elaine was wonderful! From the first time we connected online she was extremely helpful not only to the bride but to the mother of the bride. She offered suggestions and was willing to work with us to create the perfect ceremony. She was kind and professional at all times. Thank you so much Elaine! -- Sara S, Indianapolis, IN, 6/27/2009
  • I am absolutely thrilled with Elaine's performance at my wedding. Many of my guests told me how much they enjoyed her playing. I was very thankful that Elaine was able to juggle a few things around to accommodate my wedding when the original performer I booked has to cancel. I would definiately recommend Elaine to others - she is great! -- Laurie S, Indianapolis, IN, 7/3/2009
