Description
Dave Edwards is a seasoned professional musician with extensive experience onstage as well as in the recording studio. He began playing piano professionally at a local pizza parlor as a teenager. He studied classical and jazz piano at the University of North Texas, and afterward played in rock groups, country dance bands and lounge acts. He has done a considerable amount of recording work, including commercials, film scores, and song demos, as well as a stint with a band that was signed to Capitol Records.
He currently plays solo piano, covering pop and rock standards, classical favorites, and his own original pieces which can be described as smooth jazz or 'new age'. His music is ideally suited for romantic settings, private parties, and corporate functions.
If a suitable piano is not available at your venue, or if you simply prefer it, Dave will provide an electronic keyboard and sound system for a modest additional charge.

- Dave Edwards provided keyboard music for a dinner we hosted on the roof of the Reata Restaurant in Ft Worth 10/15/11. Excellent sound and song choices. - Dave is GREAT! We had a wonderful wedding and Dave's music really set the tone! I had some very specific songs that I requested Dave to play during our ceremony that were not on his normal play list. - Great Gathering, Dave Edwards was a total professional on and off the piano. Dave's range of songs thrilled the guest,children and created many sing-alongs which inspired guest to enjoy themselves. There were times when Dave would target the holiday theme and then would change when the children wanted to hear holiday songs.
