William Schaeffer specializes in instrumental piano music. He plays acoustic piano, but also has a portable digital piano for locations without a piano. He has several different sets of music depending on the nature of the event. Each set is at least two hours long. The music sets are 1. Jazz Standards, 2. American Folk Music, 3. Elvis and 50's rock and roll 4. The Beatles 5. Christmas Music 6. Pop Music from the 60's and 70's He also knows the Wedding March, Happy Birthday, some light classical selections , and other novelty songs. If you want a special song please request that special song when booking the gig to insure that the song can be played. Bill is happy to play requests, but occasionally requires advance notice to rehearse adequately. William can also read music, compose and improvise. He has a number of recordings available on itunes, spotify, and youtube under the name Bill Schaeffer Piano. He is also available for session work and film scoring. Lastly, William loves plaing the blues and boogie woogie music. This makes his renditions of old rock and roll hits particularly lively. Children love to dance.
