Hi,
I play clarinet, saxophone, duduk A and B, flute, piano/keys and accordion. I studied at the Schnittke Moscow State Institute of Music and graduated as a woodwind soloist, orchestra conductor, and music educator. Emigrating to Hollywood in 1992, I have appeared on several TV shows including Beverly Hills 90210, the Chabad Telethon and Late Night with David Letterman. My other performances include a series of five concerts at the University of Judaism with jazz luminaries Buddy Collette, Abe Most, Herb Jeffries and Bobby Rodriguez. In 2002 I performed at the Playboy Jazz Festival in Beverly Hills with his Hollywood Klezmer Jazz Quintet. Currently, I work as a freelance musician, performer with Valadez World Ensemble at Disneyland (Anaheim) and teacher out of my recording studio near Culver City. With my Jazz/Klezmer karaoke set up I play jazz standards, klezmer and other styles of popular music for weddings, bar and bat-mitzvahs, birthday parties, corporate and other events.
