The first thing that you should know about Jimmy Street is that he CARES about the success of your wedding or social event. Making your event a stress-free celebration for you is as important to him as is playing and singing great music for your guests. Saxophonist/Flutist/Vocalist Jimmy Street has performed professionally for over 20 years in Los Angeles, Reno to Las Vegas and internationally. "Jimmy is not only an amazing lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, but also a consummate professional both on and off-stage"... Michael Chanslor, Los Angeles conductor and bandleader. He always strives to live up to these words, delivering a highly entertaining and listenable performance for all of his clients. Additionally, he has a warm, friendly stage personality and interacts with his audience to make the party fun. (On request, he will happily serve as a strolling saxophonist or can also MC your event.) He plays a wide variety of music with recorded backing tracks, which are great-sounding and authentic. He also prides himself in "reading" his audience to make his performance the most effective. His repertoire includes everything from Standards to Oldies to Jazz and Classical Music. With this versatility, the music stays fresh and entertaining. And, if you're going to have kids at your event, Jimmy gets along great with them. Jimmy Street is highly respected by his peers and has worked with some of the finest musicians in the Los Angeles area, whose credits include acts like The Eagles, Ray Charles, The Beach Boys and Tower of Power. What this means to you is that he is completely professional -- arriving properly dressed, on time and with a positive and co-operative attitude. The following references will tell you all that you need to know about his professionalism: "I have worked with and known Jimmy for close to 20 years. He is on my 1st call Performers List not only as a first class musician & vocalist, but also because he's always on time or early, dresses properly, has a great attitude and is eager to please. My Clientele is very discerning and I know I can rely on Jimmy to get a party going or just do background as befitting the occasion. I have no qualms in ever hiring or recommending Jimmy Street." Richard Slosberg, ceo The RLS Agency, Inc. "I've had the pleasure of utilizing the multi-talented Jimmy Street on three different occasions, all of which were tremendous successes. Besides his terrific musical talents, one of his greatest strengths is his ability to "know his audience". His attire, set selection, and stage manner always fit the audience. He's always on time and always is gracious to fans after the performance. I would recommend him without hesitation." Ray Adams President & Group CFO Aviation Leasing Group Kansas City, Missouri "I've known Jimmy Street for 25 years, as a bandleader of his own groups, and as a musician working in my ensembles. Throughout that time, Jimmy has been a shining star; always on-time, prepared, looking and sounding great and always giving 110% to the performance, always caring about the client and the audience. The epitome of professionalism, and I might add, one of the most soulful performers around." -Brad Powell (guitarist, bandleader, producer, Geofonica Records) "Jimmy Street is a top-notch musician, performer, and entertainer. Well-versed in all musical styles, Jimmy is not only an amazing lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, but also a consummate professional both on-and off-stage. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jimmy many times, and each performance has been nothing short of electric; he’s what we call a “musician’s musician”. Jimmy’s singing, playing, and stage presence never fail to excite and entertain." – Michael Chanslor, conductor, composer, arranger, keyboardist, vocalist, has performed around the globe, conducted at Radio City Music Hall, made five appearances on NBC’s The Tonight Show, and has shared the stage with a wide variety of artists, ranging from Bob Hope, George Burns, and Bill Cosby, to Al Jardine of the Beach Boys and Dean Torrence of Jan and Dean.
