Donny is a one man act. Having spent his entire adult life as a touring band member and a highly regarded songwriter/recording artist, he decided to leave the stress of dealing with promoters, tour dates and yes the ego's of the other band members he decided to "do his own thing". Play the music he always wanted to do but was unable due to contract issues. Now he plays the music he and his audience love and remember. With impressive sound equipment and his ability to write his own midi backgrounds he is able to produce the sound of a full band. The draw backs of using the average "one man, one guitar" is the limitation of the music that one man can perform. Hard to do "Sweet Home Alabama" with one guitar and one voice. Donny also uses a "Harmonizer" that converts his main vocals into 2 to 4 part harmonies giving him the ability to perform the songs in their original form. His main focus is Classic Rock, Jimmy Buffett, The Eagles, Bob Seger, Leonard Skynard and wows every audience with his Joe Cocker Tribute Act. Anyone who see's this amazing impression remarks "It is just like being at a Joe Cocker Concert". Donny has opened for Jimmy Buffett, REO, Little River Band, Uncle Cracker, Willie Nelson, Charlie Daniels, Head East, Leon Russell, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Starship, The Beach Boys, Three Dog Night, Styx, CCR, Dr. Hook, just to name a few. This summer he will be opening for April Wine, Pat Travers, Little River Band, Bret Michaels and more. If you want a seasoned veteran (he preformed at Woodstock) this is your guy.
