Thanks for your interest in the Sidewinders. We are a group of talented musicians who love what we do and are enthusiastic about our music. Our goal is to provide you with fantastic music at affordable prices.We are a New York-based band that has been providing listeners with great music, fresh talent, and vibrant performances for over seven years. With extensive experience performing for weddings, corporate events, and private parties, our band is committed to helping clients make their event proceed elegantly and effortlessly. Our band is experienced, professional, and easy to work with. We will happily give you contact info of previous clients. Just ask. If you would like to meet us in person, we can arrange that as well. We are an extremely versatile band. We are available in many different formats, including trio and quartet. We also work with vocalists. Our repertoire includes Jazz Standards, Latin and Brazilian favorites, as well as Motown, Blues, Smooth Jazz, Soul, R&B and Rock tunes. We take great care to play at a very reasonable volume. We are well aware that it is our job to entertain your guests. We know that they will want to chat and enjoy themselves! If you would like to hear some dance music, we can kick it up with a funky dance set. In 2005, we released our first album, Jazz Perspectives. The release contains classic jazz standards, as well as Cuban and Brazilian favorites. The band travels within the US, as well as internationally. We are fully insured. The Sidewinders were wonderful! They were more than willing to work with us to make sure we had the right playlist. Zaid even came to visit me at the office for a brief meeting. They were so versatile! They offered to play different types of music from jazz to motown to salsa. They stayed late when the party was still hopping and everyone commented on how much they enjoyed the music. I hope that I have the opportunity to hire them again! We had The Sidewinders play at our wedding on June 3rd and could not have been happier with their sound and professionalism. Communication and response with Zaid in the planning stages was unparalleled.
They played our selected songs during the ceremony, entrance, etc. and mellow jazz during the cocktail hour and dinner, and then kicked it up and played more contemporary R&B dance music after dinner. They had so many people on the floor that we extended their original contracted time. If you’d like to include vocals, please ask Zaid about Anastasia Renee, her voice is phenomenal. He recommended her when we mentioned that we’d like vocals in addition to instrumental jazz. With that said, The Sidewinders are a fabulous Jazz band and SO MUCH MORE.
These guys were so good that our wedding planner, as well as several guests who have friends in the wedding planning stages, asked for business cards from the band. We have since heard nothing but wonderful things about The Sidewinders and Anastasia from guests who attended the wedding.

Look no further ... these guys offer the perfect experience and all for the right price ... we had them perform several requests (more than most are willing to do) and they even sprinkled in some of our own hand-picked I-Pod tunes during breaks ... the ceremony stuff was tasteful classical music, cocktail hour was loungy / eclectic jazz, and dance hour was a soulful funk/ groove mix ... these guys will play whatever you want ... The Sidwinders are young energetic versatile crowd-pleasing gentlemen that play great music, and they are a real pleasure to work with ...

They were exactly what we hoped for. Talented musicians who understood just what we wanted. Professional from the time we made an inquiry and signed the contract, through the entirety of the event. The Sidewinders are great. We hired them for a dinner/dance at teh Waldorf and they were able to tone it down during the dinner and liven it up later on for dancing. They sound fantastic with or without a vocalist.

The Sidewinders rocked the tent! It was a perfect match to our day. Wonderful musicians and people. I couldn't have asked for more. Zaid the band leader always answered my phone calls in the planning stage which as a bride to be eased the process and took stress off of me. Were prompt the day of the wedding, set up and started to set the mood. They played all the music at our wedding. Ceremony music we left up to them and they set the tone for an amazing day, cocktail hour got groovy-fun and uplifting, then they rocked the whole night away. I am still hearing from friends and family what a great band. Will recommend them to anyone and everyone! Thanks, Sidewinders!!
