"Dex and his band were the highlight of our wedding! I've had so many guests approach me since the wedding to ask us about JamX.
We only booked them for the cocktail hour, but I have a feeling that if they had played all night, we never would have made it to dinner - that's how much fun we had jamming to their tunes.
If we ever have another event needing steel drums, I will definitely be contacting JamX! The band arrived early so we didn't have to worry about getting them set up (a definite plus for a bride), and they sounded GREAT (we went with 3 instruments plus vocal).

"Long Trout Winery was very well satisfied with Jam X Band. All three bandmembers were very friendly and personable. they accommodated most, if not all, of our guests requests and the crowd's comments were extremely favorable. We had a bit of a tough time this year finding a band that fit our specific needs, but we are thankful that we landed on GigMasters and stumbed across Jam X....We feel as though we have made some new talented friends who brought back memories of a brief time, many years ago, that we had spent in the islands...it was a fun relaxing afternoon. "I can't say enough about the performance that JamX put on for us yesterday. We had a pool party at our home with approximately 100 guests. Everyone kept saying how wonderful the band was. Children were dancing, adults were dancing and JamX really knew how to set the tone for the party. They played all of the songs that our guests wanted to hear. They made our celebration a success. They were extremely professional and courteous. They even arrived 2 hours early to set up. Trust me....if you want to ensure that the music portion of your party is a success, hire Dex and his JamX band and you won't have to worry about a thing. "

Both Dex and Myrna responded quickly to email and phone calls and worked with us to make sure everything was planned how we wanted it. Their talent as musicians was fantastic, some of the best live reggae we've heard. Their positive energy coupled with the talent and music got everyone up and having a great time. We had so many comments from our guests about how great the band was. "This band is AMAZING! I hired them for my wedding in NYC - I had never seen them perform before, just heard some clips on the gigmasters site and You Tube, but my instincts were right. "We hired Jamx for our daughters wedding ceremony and reception and they were fantastic.
They played steel drums during an outside ceremony which was a lovely change from the same old repetitive music that is at every ceremony.
At the reception they played through cocktail hour,the meal and through the rest of the night taking only two short breaks.
The dance floor was packed all night,I cant remember the last wedding I have seen that everyone danced all night long,young and old.
Dex and the band are the best,they truly know how to read a crowd,and everyone loved them.
I think this band is truly worth every penny and more.

"Dex and the Jam X Band kept the Positive Vibrations coming all night. I don't think I left the dance floor, and was this was the case for everyone, including our 85 year old grandma who had never seen a reggae band. The music bridged all generations and everyone had a blast. The lively music kept people dancing the whole night. I had never seen these guys before I hired them and being a bit of a music snob, I was a little worried.The band makes or breaks the party. They killed it! Their vidoes online don't do them enough justice. They are awesome live, the singers were interactive, listened to all our requests, and the guitar player rocked. Very memorable experience"

" The band was absolutely delightful and very professional. They sized up the audience and before long had everyone dancing and having a ball.The 91 year old uncle of the groom danced all night. The selection of songs was very appropriate--it was a Caribbean theme--and theypicked all the old classic favorites. People were even singing to the songs. They played for 5 hours--a long time----and made the evening perfect. I would hire them again in a New York minute."

"JAM X exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The group was courteous, professional, and certainly knew what they were doing as far as musical talent. We had a house full of physicians and musicians and everyone commented on how good the group was. Just the right volume and the voices were outstanding. Due to the home's acoustics, the lead singer did not need a microphone. His voice was as sweet as they come. "The JAMX Band was exceptional from start to finish. From a personality perspective they were exactly what we were looking for, very friendly, professional and accomodating. The music was excellent and the band did a great job motivating our family and friends to get off their chairs and participate whether it was to dance or limbo! The JAMX band performed for 4 hours and only took 2 short breaks during which time they socialized with all of our guests. Our family and friends had a great time and loved the band.
