With over 175 years combined experience, and the 2010 and the 2011, Rising Star Award Winner, in the Folk Music catagory, on Gigmasters and the number one Bluegrass Band in North America, on Gigmasters. These awards only go to the top bands each year. We'd love to play your event. Two of our band members are in the Atlanta Country Music Hall Of fame. The Bluegrass Sound Band is available for private functions as well as public, including Weddings, picnics, homecomings, company parties, benifits, festivals, reunions, Birthday parties, and many others. Our rates are competitive as well as fair. We cover all decades of great bluegrass music. From the early tunes of the late Bill Monroe, to the ever popular tunes of Ricky Scaggs, as well as Old Crow Medicine Show, Vasser Clemons and Jerry Garcia. We do it all, as we please the audience with our quick wit, funny costumes and general love for the craft. If your interested in hiring us, for your next function, stop here and see our slide show and hear our music. The mp3's, you hear on this site, was recorded live on stage at some of our shows. They are not done with special effects, at a studio. What you hear is what you get, with us. We will play just about anywhere we are wanted, provided that we have enough lead time to prepare. We are members of the Southeastern Bluegrass Association. We also furnish our own PA system and sound engineer with each of our shows, included in our fee. If you want me to, I'll send you a demo CD and a Poster of our band. I, will need your mailing address though.

" Had the guys out for my birthday party on 5/4/13. Wow, what a great experience. Even though it rained that day, the band just moved inside and kept the party going. This band is so talented and so professional. They would be a great addition to any event. There was excellent communication between Jim Miller and myself prior to the event, which eased our minds during the planning stage.
These guys are great musicians and everyone at the party really enjoyed them. If you are looking for a bluegrass band for your next event, look no further. You've found'em!

"The Blue Grass Sound Band was so good. They came for our "Christmas In The Pines" family party, where the theme was old back country. The band bought fake beards especially for the party, so they could look like the Soggy Bottom Boys. They sang old school blue grass. We clogged, danced and sang along all night long. They would pause for some funny jokes and brought the audience into their stories, as if they knew us. Such "friendly folk", they felt like family. We wanted them to stay longer and join our party.
