Peter Kostopoulos Pianist from Marblehead, MA

Peter Kostopoulos specializes in performing jazz standards for clubs, cocktail parties, restaurants, corporate parties, weddings and other events where good music is required, either for background or dancing. He is a pianist and jazz clarinetist. His performances include big band swing music from the 40's and many of the classic "oldies" from the 50's, 60's, 70's, and pop. His keyboard produces a big band sound in which he often plays clarinet lead. Ambient background piano cocktail music is also his specialty. If you enjoy the standards of Cole Porter and Irving Berlin as well as Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman and Artie Shaw you will enjoy his performance. If you also enjoy classic oldies Peter can play that as well. Peter can also perform a wide variety of Greek, Italian and Middle Eastern music. His musical training includes Berklee College of Music and the New England Conservatory. Many in the audience have told him that if you close your eyes he sounds like a big group. He performs every Sunday at Capt's restaurant in Salem, MA at Pickering Wharf, and has established a very large following. He can also often be found performing at Byblos in Norwood Center and the Adriatic in Salem, MA. Peter can also perform a wide variety of International music including Greek and Middle Eastern tunes. He is available for parties, retirement parties, corporate events, restaurants, club venues and weddings.
