Peter Kostopoulos

Peter Kostopoulos specializes in performing for cocktail parties, corporate parties, weddings and other events where good music is required, either for background or dancing. His performances include big band swing music from the 40's, many of the classic "oldies" from the 50's, 60's, 70's, and pop. His keyboard produces a big band sound in which he often plays clarinet lead. Ambient background piano cocktail music is also his specialty. If you enjoy the standards of Cole Porter and Irving Berlin you will enjoy his performance of the classic American songbook. If you also enjoy classic oldies Peter can play that as well. His musical training includes Berklee College of Music and the New England Conservatory. • We found Peter to be very professional in addition to being very talented. We asked him to provide elegant but fun background music at a retirement party of about 70 guests whose ages ranged from the 20's to the 90's. His mix was excellent - we received many, many compliments on Peter's playing and his selection of tunes. • The beautiful full sound of Peter Kostopoulos and his music fills our minds still, just as it filled our lovely wedding reception. • Peter was great for our community event. The guests were diverse, and at our request, he played something for everyone. This included Greek and Arabic. We got many compliments about Peter's playing and how much people enjoyed the event. My only disappointment, a mistake from misreading his "press kit", was I expected him to sing. Seeing how much people enjoyed themselves and his music though, I think he was the perfect fit. He was easy to plan with and came 1hr early. We had him scheduled to start 30 minutes into the event.
