Travel back in time to the earliest days of the Jazz Age with Miss Rose & Her Rhythm Percolators. The Seattle-based trio faithfully recreates the vintage jazz of the early 1920s to the mid '30s -- the era when this original American music provided a playful soundtrack for the flappers who danced the Charleston and sipped illicit booze in the glitzy underworld of the speakeasy.
Miss Rose & Her Rhythm Percolators play well-known popular tunes that have since become part of the great American songbook and dust off forgotten gems from the early jazz era. Audiences delight at the unabashed romance, the playful humor, and the irresistible swing rhythms. Many can't help but dance or sing along.
For weddings Miss Rose & Her Rhythm Percolators will provide support and open communication to make sure the entertainment is perfect. Special song requests are always welcome and Miss Rose is happy to make announcements throughout the event and to coordinate with wedding planners and venue & catering personnel.
To fully transport audiences, the band members always dress in period clothing. In addition to the wonderful music, a slideshow of art and photos & swing dance lessons are some special services offered by this wonderful, well-loved group. Also available as a quartet by adding tuba or upright bass.

Wedding Reception

"We're immensely grateful that Miss Rose and the redoubtable Percolators were available to give our wedding reception at the Women's University Club a truly stylish, early-20th century feel, mixing jazz, swing, and ragtime to such great effect that every generation of our wedding guests (those who actually remember the années folles of the Jazz Age, and those barely old enough to shake their hips; discerning Seattle-ites and folks from as far away as Italy and Japan) were on the dance floor or tapping their feet away in something approaching sublimity. "Miss Rose & Her Rhythm Percolators were truly talented, delightful, personable and professional. I would recommend them to anyone wanting an intimate musical experience in their home or to those wanting to jazz up a larger event. Their music was enjoyed by everyone in my party... young and old. My parents, who were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary were tapping their toes, singing along, and sometimes wiping away the tears. This group performs with heart. Very classy!"

"We had a 20's themed Gala and Miss Rose and her Percusiion Percolators were positively perfect! They played a very important background element to our party and people are still talking about it. We never could have had the same excitement with out them. We requested themed music from a certain era and they did it perfectly. That said there is no "Dancing on the Ceiling" or "Billie Jean" or whatever else cover bands today do. Their period instruments and costumes along with Miss Rose's very clear and beautiful voice made their appearance a 'roaring' evening for all."
