Swing, big band, jazz....it's all here. Or maybe a sultry Blues band is what you're looking for. If it's Disco or Rock you need to get your crowd to the dance floor, we play it! When your wedding reception or special event requires that edge of sophistication, the Mirage Big Band Orchestra will fit your needs. They can play energetic music for your cocktail hour, smooth jazz & soft romantic ballads during dinner, but then look out! After dinner it's time to jump and jive as we pick up the tempo to the sounds of rock and big band swing. The versatility, the professionalism and the expertise of the Mirage Big Band Orchestra has made the band a favorite among corporate conventions, event planners and wedding clients all over the Southern California area since 1994. Mirage Big Band Orchestra performs with a variety of instruments, ranging from 6 to 15 musicians and singers. The full 15-piece big band has bass, keyboard, drums, percussionist, guitar, 4 Saxes, 2 trumpets, 2 trombone and two female vocalists. There are smaller configurations available when working with budget and space constraints. Special musical requests are always welcome. So at your next event, be it a small dinner, anniversary party, wedding or a large corporate function, make sure that your guests are having a fantastic time toe tapping and dancing to the music of the Mirage Big Band Orchestra. An island theme or beach party calls for the sound of the Mirage Steel Drum band to get your guests dancing and in the groove! The sizzling sounds of Island Mirage are the ideal group for your tropical or Brazilian themed party. If you want it spicy and hot, this steel drum band can get you on the dance floor with Latin favorites such as reggae, cha-chas, rumbas, tangos and mambos. If you want it light and breezy, cool down with the sexy sounds of ballads and boleros. Special requests often include Bob Marley and Jimmy Buffett hits. calypso, merengue and reggae tunes always keep your party going!

Romantic music for dinner dances and intimate parties can be provided by any of our specialty bands including the Mirage Latin Jazz band. To energize your event the Latin Jazz Band is just what you need. The romantic Brazilian bossa nova, "Girl From Impanema" always gets the crowd dancing. Hips will sway to the Samba and the sounds of "Carnivale" in Rio De Janeiro. The band plays energetic music influenced by sounds developed by Cuban and Puerto Rican artists such as Xavier Cugat, Tito Puente and Arturo Sandoval. Your guests will be grooving with the beat created by tantalizing hand percussion instruments: conga, timbales and claves. Get your party moving to the up beat rhythm of the Latin Jazz Band. The music performed by the Latin Jazz Band will keep your party going long after the music stops.

The tantalizing melodies of the Gypsy Swing Cats bring audiences a unique new musical experience. The Gypsy Swing Cats perform acoustically with an artistically innovative European blend of Swing, Latin, Jazz and Blues. The music of the Gypsy Swing Cats is infused with the wild, mysteriously free and exciting Gypsy flavors blended with influences of American Jazz. The result…..Cool, Charming and Classy sounds reminiscent of Paris in the 1930's. Their highly rhythmic sound will electrify your event, be it a small intimate gathering, a wedding or a large corporate reception.

Now your party can have the best of Rhythm & Blues, Jazz, Rock and Soul all in one package. The Blues Mirage Band plays instrumental and vocal blues favorites from all eras of this genre of music. The "boogie jazz tinged blues" made famous in the1940's with Louis Jordon's; "Choo Choo Ch'Boogie" will get everyone to the dance floor. Slow it down for your cocktail and welcome receptions with Ray Charles soulful song made famous in the 1950's; "Georgia on my Mind". Your guests will want to stay on the floor to the more modern rock-blues sound of Robbin Ford's 1988, "Talk to your Daughter". For your R&B theme party, the Mirage Blues can perform in different sizes, from as small as three pieces up to eight pieces with a full horn section. Get the Blues touch. When variety and fun are needed, Mirage Blues will provide that "insistent beat" of the rocking, jazz based Blues.

Mirage provides a full sound system and stage lighting to make your event sound and look fantastic. There is always CD music provided during the band breaks so there is never a lull in the party.
