A Lonesome Joe show is all about songs played and sung from the heart. An accomplished guitarist and vocalist, Joe enjoys playing an intimate solo acoustic show to enthusiastic audiences. Looking for something a little more lively, more variety? He can get the party started with his "one man band" show adding electric guitar and backing tracks to get your guests up and dancing! It's a big sound in a compact space - all the excitement that a full band can provide but without the big price, the big space, and the volume hassles. He often does a little of both, starting out in the background and building momentum later into the show.

Having gigged for years in many solo, duo, trio, and band situations, Joe's strengths are apparent in his soulful vocals and tasteful playing. Featuring an ever growing repertoire of acoustic and electric material from the 60's to today, Joe can mix it up the way you like it - old favorites to current hits, classic rock, R&B, acoustic gems, country and more. Offering a carefully chosen song list that's been refined through the years, Joe sings your favorites with an obvious passion for what he does. And with a wide variety of tunes (check out the song list!) there's always a crowd pleaser coming up. He'll throw in harmonica, slide guitar, and even guitar synth on many tunes - it's a great show!

• Lonesome Joe was very professional. He called after we had agreed on a price. He wanted to make sure that everything was taken care of. He was very prompt with giving us a phone call, song choice and on his arrival. He set up quietly while the party was still going on and did an excellent job. He was perfect for our evening and we really enjoyed him. I would recommend him for any party and hope that we will be able to have him back again. • He arrived for our event 2 hours prior to our start time to allow ample time to set up and make sure we all communicated the needs of the evening. • Lonesome Joe came to our event on time; he proceeded to set up quietly. The songs he played and sang he geared appropriately to the age of our club members.
