Description

A Lonesome Joe show is all about songs played and sung from the heart. An accomplished guitarist and vocalist, Joe covers it all from an intimate acoustic guitar setting to his "one man band" show which mixes in electric guitar and pro-quality soundtracks to get your guests up and dancing. Variety is the key and Joe delivers it!

Having 'gigged' for years as a solo act but also in duo, trio, and band situations - he plays in "Bandwidth", also here on GigMasters - Joe's strengths are apparent in his soulful vocals and tasteful playing. Featuring an ever growing repertoire of acoustic and electric material from the 60's to today, Joe has the flexibility to mix it up the way you like it - old favorites to current hits, classic rock, R&B, acoustic gems, country and more. Offering a carefully chosen song list that's been refined through the years, Joe sings your favorites with an obvious passion for what he does. And with a wide variety of tunes (check out the song list!) there's always a crowd pleaser coming up. He'll throw in harmonica, slide guitar, and even guitar synth on many tunes - it's a great show!

Joe loves to play and always has fun with the crowd - he might even drag you up to help sing if you're not too shy! He's ready to help you plan the right music to make your next party or special event a perfect success. No worries here - check out his stellar client feedback! Feedback

  • Lonesome Joe played at a Rehearsal Dinner for us. He was great! Communication prior to the event was strong. He was right on time and brought all the gear - no need for us to provide anything. He played all the songs that we love. Would highly recommend him! -- Amy M, Jasper, GA, 7/31/2009
  • Lonesome Joe was the perfect entertainer for our birthday party. His song selection was the right mix for the wide age range of attendees. His energy level and crowd interaction was the best. I can't say enough times how pleased we were with everything about our experience. Thanks, Lonesome Joe, for a great time! -- Pat G, Birmingham, AL, 2/23/2008
  • Lonesome Joe was very professional. He called after we had agreed on a price. He wanted to make sure that everything was taken care of. He was very prompt with giving us a phone call, song choice and on his arrival. He set up quietly while the party was still going on and did an excellent job. He was perfect for our evening and we really enjoyed him. I would recommend him for any party and hope that we will be able to have him back again. We got so many compliments on having Lonesome Joe here. He was very polite to all of the party guests. What a great job he did!! -- Cheri V, Marietta, GA, 8/23/2008
  • He arrived for our event 2 hours prior to our start time to allow ample time to set up and make sure we all communicated the needs of the evening. When it was time for him to end, he thanked everyone. One of our guests asked him if he would mind staying longer, Lonesome Joe accepted and we continued to take requests for our quests. We will use him in the future as well. He was awesome. -- Sandi T, Canton, GA, 2/28/2009
  • Lonesome Joe did a wonderful show, the crowd loved his performance! -- Sounya S, Jasper, GA, 9/20/2008
  • It was very easy working with Lonesome Joe for our event. He called to check in several times and e-mailed me a playlist request. "Joe" arrived early and was all ready to go once the guests started to arrive at our tailgate party. He played a great range of songs and several of my guests asked where I found Joe and commented how good he was. It is certainly a gamble booking someone over the internet, but everything worked out great! I would certain have Joe play another party. Great service, Talent musician, reasonable rates, and good time! What more can you ask for? -- Patrick S, Athens, GA, 9/12/2009
  • Lonesome Joe was a wonderful performer. He had a great mix of songs that everyone really enjoyed listening to. He has some great talent and made the party a big hit. A lot of people asked about him for their future events. Lonesome Joe played outside on the deck so the neighbors were able to hear him. The neighbors enjoyed listening to him and thought he was great- they would like to have him play at their neighborhood party. -- Meredith H, Atlanta, GA, 3/3/2007
  • I found Lonesome Joe from an internet search which was a little scarey for me, but after talking with him, I knew he was perfect and I need not worry about that aspect of the party. He is very easy-going, accommodating and a really nice guy. And wow, very talented! I would highly recommend Lonesome Joe! -- Linda M, Acworth, GA, 8/9/2008
  • Lonesome Joe was a crowd pleaser!! I even had the young adults telling Joe how awsome they thought he was. He was very flexible with our group, and had a large range of songs foe everyone. He will be invited back again for our next Shindig!!! -- Teresa H, Duluth, GA, 6/2/2007
  • Lonesome Joe performed for our annual party for the second year in a row. His performance was outstanding. We plan to book him for all our future events. -- Erby F, Birmingham, AL, 12/15/2007
  • Lonesome Joe was a big hit! He played great music, got the audience involved, and was very accomoadating to our requests. I specifically asked in advance for a few songs that weren't on his playlist, and he learned them and played them like it was old hat. We had a great time, and I would definitely book him again. -- Cassidy H, Alpharetta, GA, 10/6/2007
  • I have hired many entertainers over the years...and I would tell you that Lonesome Joe is a great guy for the job. I recently had the good pleausre of having Joe entertain for our office Christmas Party first at a semi formal event then at a casual spot and he did a great job in both. Our group throughly enjoyed him and he is very talented and doesn't mind in fact encourages others to join in the fun. He was well worth his fee and is on my A LIST going forward. Ray Hornsby. • Lonesome Joe came to our event on time; he proceeded to set up quietly. The songs he played and sang he geared appropriately to the age of our club members. I specifically requested the volume level be kept so that our guests could still converse without interference with loud music. There were so many positive comments we couldn't count them all! I would highly recommend Lonesome Joe for your event, whether it is a high energy party or background dinner music. -- Ron P, Hiawassee, GA, 4/24/2008
