Thank you for visiting my page! I am a professional cimbalom performer. Cimbalom is a big hammered dulcimer, but the sound can be compared with piano, harp, or guitar depending on the type of mallets used. I have been playing on cimbalom for over 30 years touring extensively to Romania, Russia, Hungary, Finland, Israel, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Spain, USA, Canada and Serbia. In USA my engagements include Boston Symphony, Salt Lake Symphony, Intermezzo festival, Utah Arts festival, Jazz at the Lincoln Center and Cheres folk group among others. Besides concerts, I gladly play as a soloist, or as a member of various groups at private events. In US I have mostly performed in Utah, Idaho, Arizona, Wyoming, Nevada, Montana, Oregon, and California. My large repertoire include classical, jazz, pop, rock, folk, country, cafe, gypsy and world music compositions. I like to plan my choice of music for specific event with ahead, in order to much all of the preferences. Usually I perform as a soloist, but, if desired, I can invite more instruments for fuller sound. Cimbalom is a very unique instrument with the unique tone. I can easily perform both a very mellow and energetic types of music. I have had the privilege of working with many different clients over the years and I strive to create a pleasant working experience with each one.
