I have been involved with music for over 17 years. I am an affordable entertainer, sharply dressed, musically qualified, and customer reliable.
I play trumpet, piano, and organ. I play both Jazz and Classical Trumpet, and have played for many professional shows and theater productions. I also do substitute Church Organ/Piano, choir directing, solo trumpet, such as funerals (taps etc.), jazz gigs, classical opportunities - (church functions) etc.
As far as piano, I play both classical and jazz, differing with each event. I am used to playing in small combo-type settings, so I usually play romantic easy listening jazz type pieces and standards, as well as many standard classical pieces. I may supply my own equipment if no piano is provided (negotiable), often with no additional charges.
In the past, I have been asked to be the substitute organist, pianist, and assistant choir director at Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Bethesda Maryland, and at the La Verne Church of the Brethren, in La Verne CA, during the summer. I have also filled in at numerous other churches throughout the Southern California area, including St. Martin des Pourres in Yorba Linda, CA. I have also played Lead Trumpet in the Pit for the Washington Savoyards, as a member of a local California "Blues Brother" Tribute Band; "THE SIN TWINS.", as well as a founding member of a soft jazz quartet, "MIDNIGHT MOODS". (Available for gigs separately. Currently I play in and around Las Vegas with some of the groups at U.N.L.V. and the Desert Winds Ensemble.
I have also played both trumpet and Piano/Organ at numerous and notable functions in the Southern California area including:
Rotary Dinners, Personal Parties, Victoria Gardens Mall, Villa Mesa Retirement Center, San Antonio Gardens Retirement Home, Farmer Boys Restaurant, Old World Deli and Restaurant, Coffee Shops, other restaurants, Chicks Sporting Goods Store, La Verne Church of the Brethren, and numerous other functions from Upland High School Jazz Band, and the Upland High School Jazz Combo... as well as numerous functions in the DC area such as Thoroughly Modern Millie and Oklahoma! with American University and with the Washington Savoyards (DC light opera company) in performances of Babes in Toyland, and The Pirates of Penzance.
