Hello and thanks for visiting our profile! My wife, Julienne and I are a musical duo who have had the opportunity to travel the world providing quality live entertainment and the pleasure of performing at many wonderful resorts, restaurants, weddings, parties, embassy sponsored events, festivals and private house concerts. As a duo we offer male and female lead vocals and harmonies, guitar, bass, ukelele, and harmonica! I am also a piano/keyboard player with many years of professional experience offering solo piano with or without vocals or piano and bass with Julienne, with or without vocals.

The diversity we provide offers you the choice of having a sensitive song that may be desired in a wedding ceremony, a sweet duet sung for your special "someone", a classy sound perfect for a cocktail hour, art gallery opening or intimate dinner and fun lively music great for parties and celebrations. We will discuss your specific event with you so that the music can be tailored to fit exactly how you want it. If there is a special song you would like played and it is not on our song list we will be happy to learn it to help make your event everything you hope for.  

If a sound system is not provided, we will be using the amazing and compact Bose L1 sound system and high quality condenser microphones to produce a beautiful professional sound; you won't be disappointed.

It is important to us, as it is to you, that the music at your event go smoothly and professionally. As professionals, we feel it is imperative to provide a high quality sound, have a neat appearance, and be friendly, approachable and accommodating. Due to the many diverse venues we have performed in, both at home and around the world, we are quite familiar with the challenges that can present themselves at any moment! You can be assured that we will handle whatever issues may arise so you don't have to!

Many of the song samples here were recorded live in the living room on our hand-held recorder. There were no amplifiers, microphones, electronic effects, overdubs, vocal tuning or editing used. We have also included some of our "original" song recordings which were professionally recorded in Bali, Indonesia.

I would like to highly recommend The Musical Nomads. Brad and Julienne are just lovely people - everyone at our concert commented on how approachable and friendly they were. Their original compositions were superb - uplifting, toe tapping music. Their cover versions of songs from Simon & Garfunkel, America, Eagles, etc. really got the whole crowd singing along, which Brad & Julienne encouraged. Having hosted more than 20 house concerts over the past 3 years, and accommodated all of the artists in our home, I can say unequivocally that there are none who would be more welcome to return than Brad & Julienne.

Nectar's restaurant James Island ?DON MCVICKER (1 REVIEW)

On a slow Sunday evening, my wife and 22-year old daughter and I were traveling down Folly road to go downtown for a light evening dinner. ?On the way, we spontaneously decided to stop in at Nectar's on Folly Road. We never made it inside because of the interesting sounds coming from the patio out back. A very talented duo (husband and wife, Brad and Julienne McKee) were paying tribute to tunes from the 60's and 70's as well as contemporary hits by Jack Johnson and the like. Brad has a hauntingly pure voice covering several or more octaves. His wife offered vocal backup and base guitar accompaniment. ?The food was surprisingly delicious, too. I will go back, especially if Brad and his wife are playing.
