Ms Johnson is backed by a five peice instrumentation that includes a veteran group of highly skilled and talented musicians: saxophonist Thomas DeLano, drummer Bill Chapman, keyboardist Karl Ludwigsen, bassist Rich Frasier, and guitarist Max Cheswick. A perfect compliment to Kim Johnson's many faceted voice, the musicians provide solid dance grooves, exciting solos, and tight ensemble work. • Funktastik made our event truly special. The band showed up on time (they had to drive four hours to get to our event), set up quickly, and kept everyone on their feet for two hours plus two encores. • The band played at our wedding and they were absolutely fantastic! So many guests complimented the band and Kim's voice was amazing live. They really added life our wedding reception and by the end of the night, everyone was on the dancefloor. Tom was a pleasure to work with. Very professional, responsive and so accommodating to our requests. They rehearsed our first dance song especially for us which was not on their song list. The band was also cool enough to let the groom go up on stage to play with the band. Great music and spirit! I would absolutely recommend them and book them again for an event.
