Motivational Storyteller: Thomas Dismukes

For more than 17 years and 19 countries, Thomas' stories have brought joy, hope, laughter and indispensable leadership skills for groups of 8 to 76,000. - "He does more than motivate and educate... he touches people's lives."

Receiving a Masters degree from Clemson University, Thomas chose a career in professional speaking because of his sincere passion to inspire people to do their best and get the best out of life.

"God looks after children and idiots, and I've always fallen into one of those categories. In my relatively short lived life, I've skinned skunks in space suits and lassoed wild beavers. I've slept in the Sistine Chapel, dumpster in England and train stations in Czechoslovakia. The first time I rode a horse was upside down in an 'International Bareback Rodeo Championship.' As a teenager I found the first 'Jewish Tomb' ever discovered in Scotland. I've explored the Arctic Circle and have broken a Guinness World Record.

I have truly been blessed to have met people from all walks of life: professional athletes, Olympians, military officers, CEO's and US public officials, billionaires and beggars. I've dug into the mind of a child and have heard the wisdom of dying last words. It is through their wisdom, leadership or lack thereof, that I gather a meaning behind the madness. These stories have greatly influenced my life and millions of others. All the stories I tell contain essential leadership principles that everyone can relate too, laugh at and apply to their lives.

My purpose is not to put focus on my story, but to encourage, motivate and educate others to tell THEIR story through their unique passions, talents and abilities.
