Olayiwola A. Alara is an Entrepreneur, Speaker and Philanthropist. Born and raised in Nigeria, he attended a 2-year college at a School of Radiology, leaving after a few months to finish a 4-year college at the University of Ibadan with a bachelor's degree in Geography under the department of Social Sciences. He occasionally worked for his father in the medical field as a technician and independently in the entertainment business but after graduating from college in 2000, he moved into a management position in the Aviation and Airline industry. A couple of years later, he got married, move into the United States in March 2004 where he served in the banking and financial service industry. This later inspired him towards entrepreneurship but along the way he experienced challenges such as the loss of a marriage, termination of employment, bankruptcy and homelessness.
In his own words “when life hands you lemons, make lemonade and drink from it”. Olayiwola A. Alara rose from the ashes, created a vision to become a speaker, to support through the experiences of his losses how to transition properly into their purpose and destiny. He founded a holding company that also provides services such as Leadership Development and Executive Coaching, operates in Acquisitions, Venture Capital and Private Equity. He partners and shares his wisdom and insights with entrepreneurs, business leaders and political leaders globally to be more productive with their professional and personal responsibilities.
Olayiwola A. Alara credits his survival and success by his faith in God. Claiming that seeing everything from a bird's eye view gives a wider perspective how to survive in a constantly evolving world when we embrace people of different race, culture, faith, religion, age, gender and sexuality in humility. He affects the lives of many daily through books, blogs, video blogs, articles, web sites, speeches and has developed creative ways to give back to our global community.
