Steven Barry Cohen aka Baby Boom DJ & crew perform regionally in Southern California for Weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, Corporate Events, Birthdays, & Anniversaries. We have performed at venues such LaVenta, Four Seasons Hotel (Westlake Village) Disneyland, Beverly Hills Hotel, Century Plaza, Hyatt Hotels, Riviera, Bel Air and Beverly Hills Country Clubs, private venues and have performed for a number of "everyday" people and Celebs.
Our services include the Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, Dinner, & Dancing for Weddings, Bar Mitzvah's with emphasis on kid's games and interactive dancing, corporate events with P.A., video and lighting set-ups. In addition our very own Steve Cohen is a world class Emcee with 15 years experience.
We play everything from Sinatra to Lil Wayne, from Billboard's Top 100 to obscure ethnic World and Jazz music. We will also provide help with your event schedule as it pertains to entertainment, interface with the venue, caterer, party planner and perform a site evaluation as necessary. We dress accordingly, smell good and are great listeners. Most of all we want you have worry free fun that you will recommend to all your friends and associates.

• We had Baby Boom DJ for our wedding on 10.10.10! We are so happy we did. After our first meeting we knew he was perfect. We had so much confidence in him because he took extra time before the wedding to make sure every bit of it was clear. He even went to our location on his own to check it out before the event so he knew what to expect. At the wedding he was GREAT! All of our guest loved him. He played a game with our guest to invited them to the buffett, intoduced us with energy, and enhanced our wedding. The music was Amazing! Everything we asked for he played! • Steve was a super fun DJ to have at our kids birthday. The children were dancing, limbo-ing, and hula hooping it up for the entire party. The parents even thought he was super funny! The dance mix was perfect. We had kids from ages 2 - 8 for our sons 3rd & 5th joint b-day party. The price was fantastic and his helper really got the kids involved dancing and using the microphone. • Steve did a wonderful job in helping me select the music. We had around 80 people at our party with ages ranging from teens to 60's. He was able to keep everyone dancing and having fun. He was very open to requests. He also helped direct the flow of the party. He was very easy to work with, set up/take down his equiptment without any issues. • Barry wanted the job more than anyone else and met us to cover everything. he was nice and very helpful and had a lot of expertise. he sent us several drafts and kept following up with us. At the party, he showed up early and put his heart and soul into our son's bar mitzvah. Everyone had a blast and he was very reasonable on the price and worked with us. He is one of the most professional people I have ever worked with an i will use him again for our other kids bar mitvah. Talented, caring, compassionate, a man of his words and a true professional.
