35 + 22 + 12 = WOW!
Say what?
Whether you are a human resources manager looking for specialized training or professional development opportunities for your staff or a sales manager looking for that something special for your next sales meeting or trade show, then that formula, above, will start to make sense as you learn how Ron Guttman can bring some whee! to your next event.
Here's how that formula breaks down.
Ron spent more than 35 years in the IT sector as a consultant and software developer, working with some of the largest organizations, a veritable who's-who of corporate North America, helping them design and implement mission-critical applications and apply leading-edge technologies.
Much of that time was spent seeking out opportunities, creating strategies, and then helping client staff understand and implement change. This meant dealing with:
* Motivation - Change in the corporate world is inevitable. Accepting change is a life skill and in today corporate and economic environment, a very important one. Ron had to find ways of helping client staff accept, support, and even champion the impending changes.
* Training - New systems often mean new procedures; staff training was always a part of the delivery.
* Team Building - Personal agendas and egos are a fundamental part of most project teams. Getting participants to leave these at the door is a major challenge to project managers and in general, the results aren't pretty!
That's a lot of experience. Real-world experience. And that's the reason Ron's CV ran over 7 pages and what made him a sought-after consultant!
Then in the late 80s, more than 20 years ago, in answer to an unfulfilled dream, Ron began the journey towards becoming a professional entertainer. As a biographical note, In the late 60s and early 70s the muse was music; now the muse became magic, adding a whole new dimension to his skill set as a corporate communicator.
Then about 12 years ago, Ron set out to study improv as a means of enhancing his communications skills and on-stage persona. The immediate result was a better connection with his consulting clients. In the process he overshot his goal by a wide margin by completing a Certificate in Theatrical Performance and adding professional actor to his resume. He now includes numerous appearances in commercials, films and television productions on his resume.
Simply put, that all adds up to WOW!
Today, everyone likes to talk about the wow factor. Ron certainly has the breadth and depth of experiences that can add a lot of value to your training budget's bottom line. But is that enough?
Then consider this:
Ron Guttman = Speaker + Trainer + Entertainer!
