Jay Posipanko performs on mandolin, a stringed instrument tuned like a violin, but played like guitar, with a pick. Many styles of music are part of his repertoire, from Baroque (Bach and Vivaldi sound wonderful) to more contemporary sounds such as Choro and Samba from Brazil. A specialty is the wonderful music of Italy, typified by the songs "O Sole Mio" and "Santa Lucia".
