mr.wizard Magician from Seminole, FL

He was about 20 minutes late which isn't a good way to start for a corporate event. He did stay 15 minutes late to makeup for it, but we'd have preferred a prompt start. We had mainly slight of hand and misdirection tricks which worked for the setting (lots of conversation at various tables that he had to interrupt).

Although Mr Wizard was very nice and was on time and actually had to wait for us, I dont believe he was best suited for our function. He is more for a much younger crowd.. like little kids. He did a few tricks for me and i caught every single trick before he was done and i was not looking for it.. it was just that extremely obvoious. I would not recommend him for any adult functions but would for maybe 4-6 year olds. I also had many people in our group ask where the magician was and if he showed so apparently he wasnt moving around our party and impressing too many people.

Very nice man who performed as advertised, i.e., family magic, tricks not seen before, & taught some magic tricks to the children. I liked that he was not very showy or loud. My audience was teen and pre-teen, and he did not talk or perform "down" to them, but challenged them and adults. I especially appreciated the mental/mind & math tricks. He was also reasonably priced. I stated my criteria in GigMasters as hosting a child's birthday party. Other quotes I received were well over $200 for an hour or less of performance. That price range seems more appropriate for a corporate event rather than a child's birthday party. I would recommend Mr. Wizard to others.
