Richard Young the Magician has performed across Canada and extensively throughout the United States. Richard enjoys traveling to different places and having the opportunity to entertain audiences of all ages with his balloon twisting, comedy magic, roving magic, and stage magic. For a birthday party, parents have the option of a 30, 45, or 60 minute captivating show that their child will never forget. The shows feature age-appropriate magic tricks that involve some or all of the friends (depending on the length of the show). Then the birthday child comes up to the front to be the center of attention and to help with a special trick or two. This is a great opportunity for some memorable photographs! Then Archie the dove appears out of nowhere! The children love petting and holding him, as most have never seen such a soft, quiet, calm, and gentle bird so close before. Then Richard makes the birthday child a giant, colorful, balloon animal before making a small one for the rest of the guests. It makes for a magical and memorable birthday party!

• I asked Richard to come to my son's first birthday. We had a mixed group with ages between a year old and 12. Everyone loved it!!! He was hillariously funny and had great magic too! I asked for some business cards for my guest but I ran out. It was a great idea. I would definately recommend Richard. I think everyone got something out of the performance. Even my son which we thought he was too young, loved to watch and clapped. The bird was really cool too! What a crowd pleaser!!!!!
