1. View online demos of as many magicians as you can. Most New Jersey magicians on Gigmasters have one or more video samples of their magic shows available on their online press kits.

3. Book early. Professional magicians in New Jersey and throughout may need to be booked several months in advance.

4. Get a contract and read it carefully. Many professional magicians will also require a deposit in order to secure them.
