PROFESSIONAL BIO: Didi was born into a "show business family" and began her professional career at age 8 in a French Cabaret Comedy Revue. She is a classically trained dancer with a strong background in Jazz and Tap She attended both the acclaimed Lee Strasberg Theater Institute and The Singer's Forum in N.Y.C. as a scholarship student. Her most noteworthy performances have been in "Cats," "42nd Street," "Cabaret," "Sweet Charity," and "Godspell."

In 1995, Didi opened LaBrecque Studios, a performing arts school for children. It was then that Didi developed her interest in magic that's evolved into her driving passion of today. In 1998, she started Adventures in Entertainment, a party and event planning company. In 2002, she began Didi Maxx Productions for theatrical and stage shows.

• The Woodmere Republican Club and Woodmere YRs held its first event, a BBQ, on Sunday, September 19, 2010. As a rather last minute consideration, I thought it might be fun for the children to keep them near their parents but occupied with such activities as face painting, balloon sculpture and games. From the moment Marabelle arrived, the children - about 15-20, ages 4-12 - flocked to her and never left! They were enjoying themselves so much that I asked Marabelle to extend her stay. • We booked Maribelle from Didi Maxx at the last minute. It was the BEST decision. We had about 15 kids between the ages of 2-10 and Maribelle was a HUGE hit. She did balloon animals, a parachute, face painting, had hula hoops and toilet paper for the kids to play with. The kids were so happy and were sad when she left! Having such a high-quality entertainer allowed the parents to just relax and enjoy the food and the company of others. A number of parents commented on how great she was and how she was the best they've seen at a party. • Didi Max did a phenomenol job at my daughter's 8th birthday party. Inspite of the rain storm, she was able to successfully entertain 30+ children with a magic show, dance party and cotton candy for two hours. • I hired Simone for a 40th birthday party-- with guests ranging in age from 25 to 50. Simone was amazing. She is a real person, with a real gift-- not an entertainer playing the role of fortune teller. She has worked with special needs groups before and discussed before the event what she thought would work, and listened to our recommendations as well. She was also able to include and involve children as young as 4 or 5 and those with special needs as old as young adults, and was able to adjust to the spontaneous 'center stage' desire of our special needs group. • It was a wonderfully delightful birthday experience for my 4 year old daughter and her classmates. I hosted a Scooby Doo theme party and it was paramount to have a Scooby Doo character appear. I got more for my buck when Coco the Clown performed her magic acts for the children, then left classrom and returned as Scooby Doo. It was a real hit! Scooby Doo entertained the children, pretended to eat scooby snacks and sat at the table with my little girl in her lap as we sang happy birthday. The grand finale was Scooby Doo leaving to solve a mystery and Coco returning to make animal balloons. Coco was punctual, reliable and very personable. • Didi was great! Considering she was working in 90 degree weather it did not stop her from giving her best performance for the children. My son who was turning five was mezmorized by her magic and wouldn't stop talking about his amazement. • Didi Maxx provided our First Birthday Party with MARIBELLE, who did a wonderful job with the kids and she was quite accomodating to us, too. Her FACE PAINTING was Creative, Original, and Unique for each of the kids. Her Pirate Faces included the painted eye patch, painted Pirate Head-Band, and other acutrements. She also gave them balloon animals. Her ELMO appearance was a Show-Stopper ! The kids all loved it ! Some of the little ones just hung onto Elmo's legs and would not let her go.
