Dennis Blanchard

An amateur magician at the age of eight, Dennis Blanchard has been performing professionally for more than 20 years. In addition to delighting patrons right at their table 5 nights a week at area restaurants, Dennis presents his show at several parties and functions each month. Dennis can perform close-up magic for any venue, corporate to family, and has performed at many: Country Clubs, Corporate Events (e.g., Lockheed, Bloomingdale's), Grand Openings, Arts and Crafts Festivals, Schools, Libraries, First Nights, Children's Museums, Gala Fund-raisers, Athletic Clubs, and Restaurants, for example. Dennis believes that magic must be entertaining and fun, and that it also is an art form. The point is not to fool, but to invoke a sense of wonder and amazement. With a degree in Education and experience in a variety of performing venues, Dennis's love for people is apparent throughout his wonder-packed shows. He demonstrates that magic is really having fun with your imagination by carefully selecting effects that both entertain and mystify. From multiplying your money to mind reading - there's lots of audience participation. Your guests will feel special, and will have lots to talk about. Magic can be a great “ice breaker!"
