Derek Lavertu

Derek Lavertu has specialized in performing close-up magic at parties, weddings, functions, fundraisers, etc. for about nine years. He has a relaxed, conversational style with touches of humor that puts audience members at ease, allowing them to feel the full impact that a quality magic performance can have. Almost every piece of magic he does involves audience participation. During a typical performance, you might see a drawing come to life, an audience member's signature travel from one place to another, or a playing card change while in an audience member's hand.
