• We hired Bluelight Entertainment for our daughter's wedding, even though he was 90 miles away, because we felt supported in our choices and received such prompt and complete responses to our questions. • Troy Coghill called me immediately after I submitted my request to Gigmasters and discussed my event. He was very kind, professional, and willing to make my event the best! • I want to thank Troy for doing a great job this past weekend. We used him both on Friday and Saturday evenings for our Optimist convention. He did a wonderful job accomodating the variety of age appropiate music requests, as well as doing a great job improvising with our activities each night and keeping up with my demanding requests. • Although i had a wonderful time, i felt that Troy had trouble reading the crowd. He played "dancing" music while guests were trying to enjoy food and cake. When the crowd was ready to dance, he followed a fun song with 3 slow songs. I felt that he was accommodating when it came to requests, and he did pull some songs up that he did not have, and that was very kind. However, I think allowing the crowd to enjoy their meals and conversation was very important, and maybe the fun songs should have waited until after the cake was cut. Troy was very kind and had a wonderful personality, and did help us have a wonderful wedding. I do wish he played a few extra songs that i had mentioned, and read the crowd a little better. • First of all...I shouldn't even be evaluating Blue Light Entertainment since they didn't even deem it necessary to attend my party. They instead sub'd it out to a different DJ without even asking first after I gave them a deposit. They assured me that this DJ was someone they worked frequently with and I would be just as pleased. The DJ that showed up was Carolina DJ and I would never hire him for anything again. There has to be some degree of professionalism and I'm sorry but the DJ smelled so BAD when he showed up that everyone was commenting on it. That was NOT professional.
