CRYSTAL IMAGE is John Covert and Michael Samaritano. The duo can be expanded with live drums and much more! Michael Samaritano is an ex movie stunt man. He brings excitement to the stage and to the audience with his wireless guitar and crazy antics! He also performs renditions of acoustic songs by artists like James Taylor and Neil Young that will make you believe you are listening to the artist himself.

A core member of the Crystal Image Trio is Dayna Wills, related to legendary country "hall of fame" artist, Bob Wills (Texas Playboys, San Antonio Rose). She has the voice of an angel when she performs country, blues and classic rock favorites!

Because the duo or trio has "keyboard built in" drums and bass run through an excellent sound system, they sound like a full band and are very professional and danceable. A wonderful alternative for smaller budgets and venues!

John has opened for Tower of Power, Sons of Champlin, Chad and Jeremy, The Chiffons, Simon & Garfunkel, Gary U.S. Bonds and performed with members of John Lee Hooker's and Albert King's blues bands, Sly and the Family Stone, Tommy Castro, Pam Tillis' band and many others! A BMI songwriter (Grand prize winner in the Nashville Music City Song Festival, multi-finalist American song festival), John's songs have been featured in Hollywood movies, Country Song Roundup and U.S. Gospel News magazines, charted in Billoard and #1 on the Country Gospel Music Guild Charts in 1999. He has also had songs featured on ABC TV (General Hospital), on a CD release out of Ireland/The United Kingdom "California Love-in" that features vintage Crystal Image songs along with the legendary "Steppenwolf" band of "Born to be wild" fame, John sings on an album produced by James E. Myers (aka Jimmy De Knight) composer of "Rock around the clock". John's songs have also been featured on The Nashville Network (TNN), VH1 TV shows "The fabulous life of country superstars" and "Driven" ("Driven" also featured Grammy winner, Usher!) and on an episode of "The Sopranos" (A&E network). • Crystal Image was very professional. They did what they said they would, they were on time and were very friendly to my guests. I would use them again at that same party. They are a great band for accommodating a variety of ages if you don't want hard hitting loud music. Our party was a neighborhood bbq and everyone said they enjoyed the band.
