DESCRIPTION:
Specializing in playing more modern hits from the 80's, 90's and today, in addition to the classic oldies, Y3K is the band for events where younger people (ages 20-50) will be present. With three lead vocalists, 4 part harmony, male and female vocals, keyboards, guitar, drums and percussion, Y3K can accurately cover the full spectrum of music, so the dancing never stops for anyone. A synchronized light show is also included to make the stage and dance floor an energetic environment. The members of Y3K are funlovers, a refreshing quality that is contagious to audiences. The most frequent comment we hear is "You are all so much fun!" We work hard to make our songs sound just like the original version. We then add the personality, excitement, light show, and driving energy of our live show. Every band can play the classic oldies, including Y3K. If you are looking for a great live band that really knows how to play songs from 1980 to now, pick the group that does this as its specialty, Y3K.
