DESCRIPTION:
RamFunkshus is a top-rated band on Gigmasters for all of California. We are a runaway favorite of entertainment companies and clients who know they can trust us to provide a memorable musical experience at wedding receptions, corporate parties, or community events. We are a 6 or 7-piece variety cover band led by a male/female vocalist team. We have 1-5 horn section players who have played with such acts as Tower of Power and The Tonight Show. We specialize in the dance music of the 1960s through today, including Motown, Soul, R&B, classic rock, disco, alternative, fun '80s, and today's hits. We can also play the softer jazz and pop standards for dining or early dancing portions of your event. Rick Fitts, our male vocalist, is an accomplished comedic and dramatic actor who has years of experience in being a Masters of Ceremonies at major events. In addition to being a wonderful singer, he is so warm, charming, quick-witted and genuine, and Brides, Grooms, Corporate Execs, and guests absolutely love what he brings to these events. Sean Wiggins, our female vocalist, is a major vocal talent, is considered one of the most soulful 'blue-eyed divas' in Southern California, and has released several critically-acclaimed CDs.
We have played at corporate or organizational receptions for Digital River, Club 110 of The Music Center, Hughes, Fatburger, Global Crossing, First American Title, Northrop Grumman, Merril Lynch, California Credit Union, Nobel Biocare, Baxter Healthcare, and Glaxo Wellcome. We have played at the top hotels, country clubs, restaurant clubs, and other venues from Ventura to San Diego, and we have at corporate events and wedding receptions both out-of-state and at international destination resorts. Our club appearances have included BB King's, Harvelle's, Point 705, Lunaria, Gitana, and The Warehouse. Thank you Ramfunkshus for making our reception such a party! During the reception, my husband and I were trying to make our rounds and visit some long-lost friends and family. I will never forget looking out onto the dance floor and realizing that it was completely full! Everyone was dancing, and I mean REALLY dancing! It was awesome... our guests were truly having a great time (everyone--ages 22 to 62!). Rick was a fabulous emcee, and really engaged the crowd. Everyone in Ramfunkshus is so talented; they made us so proud. I can't tell you how many people came up to us and said, "Wow! You hired a really great band!"

From the initial contact with the band to the final song; Ramfunkshus was the most accomodating, professional, and especially, FUN group of people to deal with. All of our requests, questions and concerns were handled and every detail seen to with timeliness and care. Our wedding was enhanced so much by having Ramfunkshus play for us!
We looked at other, more traditional bands, and interviewed quite a few DJs and couldn't have been more sure and ecstatic that Ramfunkshus surpassed our expectations. In our opinion, Ramfunkshus is the best choice for a wedding of any type, or for any occassion where fun, style, class and expert musicianship and vocals are important!

I found RamFunkshus on the Gigmasters website and from the minute I made contact with them I was very impressed. They were COMPLELELY PROFESSIONAL in every aspect of working with our wedding reception. Not only did they provide the fantastic entertainment at our reception, they walked us through how to schedule the different aspects of the reception. They were very willing to offer help when needed or let us take charge where we needed.
Then once the reception started -- they creatd the magic that made the evening a wonderful event for my husband and I and everyone that came.
It's a month later and I am still getting compliments about the reception. Everyone felt free to dance and party. Looking back at the pictures you can see that the dance floor was packed the whole night and everyone is laughing and having a great time.
The band's electricity sparked the everyone else's electricity and then blended together for a great night. The band was hot the whole evening -- never let down. Rick was a wonderful MC with his warmth and wonderful smile.
Our group of friends is very diverse -- with half our friends in their twenties to thirties and the other half in their fifties to sixties -- and then all ages sprinkled in. Everyone from the 4 year old to the 85 year old -- said, this was the best wedding reception ever!!! Actually the four year old said, this was the best party ever!! They all loved the band!!!!
Thanks Gigmasters for providing the opportunity to find this great band. We will be using them again for other events in the future.

I'm so glad I chose RamFunkshus for my New Years' Eve Party. Not only was it easy to access their videos and listen to their playing on their web site but it was also easy to communicate with them whenever I needed questions answered. One word . . . AWESOME!!!!! Very professional, accommodating and friendly. They even learned a couple new songs just for our event. They hosted our dance contest and it was a blast. This group was excellent. The feedback that I heard from our employees was that this band was "tight"; "their voices were amazing" the music selection was fantastic, everyone was up and dancing through the last song. They definitely left us wanting more. They worked with us scheduling around appetizers, dinner and speeches, making sure that everything was right. They joked with us and even helped us recover from a little mistake in the presentations. I can't wait to use them for another event!

Wow, what amazing performers! I was married last Friday and Ramfunkshus performed at our reception. I cannot tell you how many compliments I received about the band. All of the band members were very warm and personable. They have amazing talent. Rick did an incredible rendition of Louie Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World" for our first dance. RamFunkshus is a wonderful band and played a significant part in making our company anniversary dinner/dance a huge success! Two weeks after the event, employees are still talking about what a great time they had and how much they enjoyed the energy that the band projected. This band far exceeded our expectations. After evaluating several other bands, we chose RamFunkshus to play at our wedding because they seemed to offer the best value for our money. Once the wedding reception started, it was obvious that we had made the right choice by booking RamFunkshus. Their talent, experience, professionalism and great combinations of rock, funk, soul, dance and standards impressed everyone and made the party a blast! I was approached constantly throughout the night by guests asking me "where did you find such a GREAT BAND!!?" I told them about Gigmasters. Things could not have gone better and my wife and I (and several of my friends) look forward to going to see Ramfunkshus play at one of their public gigs.

RAMFunkSHUS were awesome! They played for our annual Gala with more than 500 guests (ages 25-70.) I worked with Barry prior to the event and asked him if they could put together a special LINE DANCE for one of my major donors and it was a HUGE hit. My donor who can be very picky about the entertainment asked me at the end of the night if we could hire them for next year. This event has been held for 14 years and this is the first time that we had more than 50 people stay until the end to dance. It was a great event and RAMFunkSHUS made our fundraiser a huge success. Sean Wiggins has a wonderful voice and can sing just about anything - Yes, even AC/DC.
