DESCRIPTION:
More than just a cliche' wedding band, Bull City Syndicate, (formerly, Soul Kitchen & The Bull City Horns), pushes the boundaries of their powerful sound even further for 2008. No other band from the Mid-Atlantic region dares attempt the intricate fusion of rhythm-section funk, 4-horn firepower, and soaring vocals that BCS throws down each time they play live.Featuring the Bull City Horns on their front line, Bull City Syndicate has been
building a loyal and ever-growing following for 14 years - featured not
only at the top area restaurants and clubs, but also statewide at music
festivals, colleges, weddings, private and corporate parties, as well as many local
and national charity events. It will be worth your effort to see why Bull City Syndicate is one of the most in-demand bands in the Mid-Atlantic region, and why the crowds at their public appearances are always filled with musicians from other bands. SPECIAL NOTE: Bull City Syndicate can further enhance your event by offering a full set of jazz classics in a more intimate combo style, preceeding the full band during your event's dinner/cocktail hour - or, you can hire the jazz combo separately from the full band. These great musicians can also provide music for wedding ceremonies - from classical guitar to trumpet processionals!

CLIENT FEEDBACK:
They were a fantastic band and the guests at my wedding had a wonderful time. They even ran the sound for the ceremony which was a last minute need. Everyone in the band was extremely nice and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a band. The manager was always in constant contact with me to make sure all our needs were being met.

Soul Kitchen was everything I had hoped for and more. The crowd was energized and danced the entire night. They accommodated my special request for a song for my wife and invited her and her friend on stage to sing with the band which was the highlight of the evening. I heard comments the entire night of how incredible the band was and how in the world I found them. The other great comments I got were that not only did they sound incredible but they were really into it and seemed like really nice guys as well. The Chicago and Earth, Wind&Fire stuff was as good (if not better) then the real thing. The musicianship and vocals were truly world class.
As I was planning this party for my wife my top priority was having an incredible band and they promised me I wouldn't be disappointed and they were so right. It was a night none of us will forget and I have Soul Kitchen to thank for makling it so memorable. My wife wants to go ahead and put in a booking request for my daughter's future wedding with them already (She is only 11) - so I hope the guys are still together - we're counting on it!
Please have anyone interested in hiring this band contact me if they want a recommendation. They may cost a little more than the average band but you get what you pay for and so much more with Soul Kitchen.

Bull City was wonderful, but probably more powerful a sound than we needed for that particular venue and for what we were trying to accomplish. I had their stage located in the central area of the ballroom which made it difficult to hear in our Bachelor Playground set up adjacent to the stage....MY FAULT!
I probably spent too much of our funds for such a premium band, considering our bachelor auction took longer than expected, preventing Bull City from playing as much as I would have liked. ...again, MY FAULT!
Bull City has an amazing sound; they are simply a fabulous band!
