This band of professional musicians prides itself on making your evening fun and memorable by playing the perfect music selections for your occasion. Our song list includes selections from the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's, Jazz, R&B, Rock, Disco, Soul, Country, Funk, and some Top 40 hits. Whether it is a private party, wedding reception or corporate function, Soul Intention is able to play anything from soft jazz for background music to groovin' R&B and rock. We are a full service band who can provide music ranging from a small quartet for more intimate gatherings or for background music for your cocktail and dinner hour, to a six-piece dance band for larger occasions and receptions. We can also provide special music for your wedding ceremony if needed. No matter what your budget, Soul Intention is willing to work with you to make your special day one to remember. We pride ourselves on being able to keep the party moving by packing the dance floor and keeping your guests wanting more. We have an extensive song list, but if there's a particular song you want, we would be happy to learn it for you. No matter what the location, Soul Intention can accommodate your needs. We have worked in large venues such as Benaroya Hall, the Tulalip Casino and the Maritime Museum, to smaller venues such as the Columbia Tower and the Smith Tower Chinese Room, to various clubs and private home parties. Becca Atterberry and Soul Intention are a first class dance and party band. From the moment they hit the stage the party is rocking and the band's energy and enthusiasm sets the tone for the party instantly. From a producer's standpoint the experience is sweetened by Becca's personal attention through the pre-production discussions and her overall flexibility and customer service. I would unreservedly recommend Soul Intention to any producer or party planner. They are simply excellent to work with.

We had Becca and Soul Intention play at our wedding reception and they were fantastic! We had never heard the band play before that night, but they had such rave reviews on their website that we decided to give them a shot. They made our night! Everyone was dancing and commenting on how good they were and how much fun they were having. Becca was so accomodating and professional. From the first day I spoke with her, she was very helpful, understanding, and excited about our wedding. It made me feel very confident about our decision.
Becca has a great voice and the band is superb. They played during dinner and helped set the mood with some nice, jazzy dinner music. They had no problem setting off the dance floor and getting everyone, from the young to the old, dancing. They knew exactly how to read the crowd and were able to keep the party going. We had so much fun! They even interacted with the group, taking requests and having fun with us. We are still getting comments about them.
I would highly recommend Becca and Soul Intention to anyone. They surpassed our expectations and without them, I don't know if our night would have been same. Thank you!

We really enjoyed having Becca and Soul Intention perform for our wedding reception. Becca is very organized, talented, helpful and accommodating and the band is very talented and professional. It was very easy to work with them. They performed some really fun music for dancing and definitely "rocked the house." Our guests had a wonderful time. We would definitely recommend Becca and Soul Intention to anyone who asks - they are definitely worth it! We can't wait to see them perform again soon!

Becca and her band were amazing. As an event planner, one of the most important things in hiring a vendor is their reliability and their level of accomodation for my client (and of course talent). Becca went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She and her band were amazingly talented and performed flawlessly all night long. We received tons of compliments on the music, and Becca and her band had everyone on the dance floor until the end - just as the bride and groom wanted. She was truly a great person to partner with. I booked Becca & Soul Intention for my wife's surprise 40th party. I was blown away with their talent, professionalism, and complete "feel" for the crowd (about 120) and what they wanted to dance to.
