Dorothy Jane Siver

Dorothy Jane Siver is a multi-talented musician. She hales from the Adirondack Mountains of northern New York where fiddling is very popular. Her "My Journey Begins" CD was released on June 4th 2011 and has 10 powerful songs. Many stations across the USA have been playing her music on live radio shows, ranging from Gillian Welch covers to her mothers originals and hard driving instrumentals, Dorothy Jane Siver has been called a prodigy within her genre circles. She currently plays fiddle, guitar, mandolin and upright bass as well as classical piano and classical violin. • There is NO other group who would have been more suitable for our event than the Sivers. Our guests were very complimentary of the band with many saying "How did you ever locate the band, they are just wonderful!" As they were here for longer than the actual performance, we got to know them and have found some new friends. We are planning to travel to see them at another performance in about three weeks.
