Description
"THE RAZORS ROCK...consistently cool music! Check out their next gig and bring friends. Good times !" -- Cerphe Colwell, of Cerphe's Progressive Show.
The Razors band is an enthusiastic, experienced cover group doing classic rock, blues, country, dance, and current hits. We are regular players at Clydes in Chevy Chase - and the honorary club band for the Baltimore Yehudim Riders motorcycle club- and have gigged at Flannagan's Harp and Fiddle, the Manor Country Club, the Capitol City Brewing Company (for a 500 guest fundraiser), Growlers Pub, the Young Presidents Organization annual party, the Loudoun Fox Hunt Club Ball, Meadowbrook Farms Annual Crab Feast, the National Theatre's "Monday Night at The National" series, Georgetown University, Dad's Neighborhood Pub, the Outta the Way Cafe, Hank Dietles in Rockville, MD, and many other venues, private parties, and weddings during the past several years. Members are Jon Gadsden on percussion and vocals, Dave Rodler on guitar, Ron Cihlar on vocals and bass, Steve Moore on vocals, guitar, keyboards, and harmonica, Ben Allen on vocals, guitar, and bass, and Charlie Moore on drums. The band functions as a 5-piece (with Ben Allen and Steve Moore as lead guitarists), and as a 6-piece group with Ben and Dave Rodler as lead guitarists, with Steve mainly on keyboards. We specialize in rock that isn't overplayed, including ambitious, complicated tunes such as "Jessica" by the Allman Brothers and the Jimi Hendrix version of "All Along The Watchtower" as well as fun ("Secret Agent Man"), and dance songs ("Hook," "Shotgun" etc.) With personality, humor - and four voices - we rock hard when necessary, and deliver smooth sounds when appropriate. We don't hype, we just deliver pro music and crowd enjoyment. Try us out for your next celebration.

Feedback
- Our party was a huge success a large part due to the Razors. We had an unexpected snowstorm dump several inches of snow and ice and without fail, the band showed up despite their long drive!
We loved the crowd interaction and people are still talking about the range of music.
They are the utmost professionals in all areas of communication and with how they set up and tear down after the event was over.
We hope to use the Razors again for our future events.

- These guys were awesome. The party was almost a week ago and people are still coming up to me and talking about and asking about the band. If you are planning a party, THIS is the band you need to hire.
The playlist was great, the performances were spot-on, and the band is very charismatic, eager to please, and ready to play.
Hire them.... hire them now!

- The Razors were an awesome band for our wedding. Their style of music is very entertaining. They were very cooperative and accomodating working with us, even working on a couple of new songs they hadn't played before. They came together and the wedding and entertainment were amazing. I would definitely recommend The Razors band for any of your gigs be it a wedding, private party, or bar scene, if you like any type of classic rock The Razors will keep you thoroughly entertained throughout the course of the event. -- Jeff E, Mchenry, MD, 8/7/2010
- We had the The Razors play for our 500 person charity event in downtown DC. They were great!! Very accommodating about our requests in terms of setlist and everyone had a blast on the dancefloor. -- Grace K, Washington, DC, 4/16/2011
- Our third engagement hiring The Razors to perform and as always a great time. You know you have a great band when your guests are asking them if they perform in their area. The Baltimore Yehudim Riders / The Tribe MC picnic was a huge success and The Razors were a big part of it. The Razors have become the honorary club band for the Baltimore Yehudim Riders. HIRE 'EM!! YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!. We'll definitely have them back!

- Entertaining a party of close to 300 people can be tough, but The Razors kept their cool, and the crowd happily entertained. They were quite funny, more of comedians at times..which kept our group laughing. They played a wide range of music for every preference, and they even kept up with my requests for announcements...which we had alot! During a Pie Eating Contest among co-workers, they kept the crowd involved, and enjoying the contest. For our Corporate Annual Harvest Fest, they were a perfect fit. I received nothing but positive feedback and even some requests to have them back in the future. Thanks Razors! -- Jennifer N, Solomons, MD, 10/14/2011
- The Razors were a great group, not only can they sing, but they are great entertainers!! We would love to have them back again to play for us, they are a fun group of guys!! I had many people come to me throughout the weekend of our event and commented on how much they enjoyed them!! -- Stacey F, Louisa, VA, 7/29/2011
- The band was great. Everyone really enjoyed the music. Thank you! -- Courtney M, Middleburg, VA, 9/3/2011
- Our 2nd time with The Razors and everyone loved the band! Our 53 guest plus kids really enjoyed their music, showmanship and personalities. We're going to have them back for a motorcycle event in July. -- Chris M, Parkton, MD, 5/1/2011
- The Razors were a great addition to our event! We asked them to return for next year's poker run. Also, we're considering for another event. Great sound and fun. Highly recommended. -- Chris M, Pikesville, MD, 10/31/2010
- Fun, professional, and they nailed our event with great sounds. Everyone had a good time. The Razors are exceptional. -- Sam M, Bethesda, MD, 8/27/2008
