Description
Booking Holiday parties now!
The Hootchies are a professional 4 person band consisting of keyboards, bass, guitar, drums, saxophone, two lead vocals and one backup vocal. We play a style of music we call "Northern Fried Rock".
What is Northern Fried Rock anyway? Northern Fried Rock is a combination of Southern Rock, New Orleans Funk, Reggae and Bar Band Music sprinkled with an occasional instrumental tune for flavor- played by a band based in the Boston MA area.
We have been playing together for 7 years and have performed countless weddings, corporate events and club gigs. We can perform both a quiet cocktail hour set of instrumental jazz as well as several hours of dance-able R&B, Rock, Soul and Funk from the 60's and 70's with a handful of contemporary tunes thrown in for good measure.
We own a first-rate sound system that is designed to sound full and clear at low volumes but has the power to crank it up when needed. It is complete with wireless mics that can be used for announcements, toasts, etc. We also provide music from an iPod for in between sets. We are more than happy to pre-load it with whatever songs you would like to hear.

Feedback
- The Hootchies played at our yacht club for a summer tent event. They were fantastic and had the whole crowd dancing! Greg and the band were professional and very accommodating to our desire to be outside. Thanks for everything and hope to see you at the club again soon! -- Kristen S, Barrington, RI, 6/25/2011
