The most versatile band in the Denver metro is ready for your event. The Bucktones play good time covers and upbeat originals, always in good taste. These fine players draw from a wealth of styles covering rock, Motown, blues, surf music and country as well as originals in a similar vein.

Jeff Scarborough started his guitar career in LA. He has toured the US, Germany & Vietnam in many Surf & Rock'n Roll Bands, including The Thunderballs. Jeff performed as a studio guitarist and recorded eight hit albums for the Arrows.

Evergreen, CO native Jerry Grannell plays a host of instruments including bass, guitar, fiddle, mandolin, and banjo. In his extensive bluegrass career, he opened at festivals throughout the region, and recorded original cds. Jerry sings and plays bass with The Bucktones, who are mighty fortunate to have him.

John Bertalan is known throughout Denver and the foothills as a premier drummer on a conventional drum kit. But he is a percussionist like no other on his alternative set up consisting of Home Depot buckets, sprockets, washboard, glass bottle, and various recycled objects. He is visual as well as audio treat.

Kathleen Widlund has sung with bands in Minneapolis and now Colorado over the past 25 years, and is delighted to be a part of The Bucktones. She enjoys singing a wide range of styles, from Motown to Country to Oldies to Jazz. She has recently recorded her second cd of originals.
