Swing Assembly

Swing Assembly is a 10 piece band + vocals. Instrumentation: Drums, Bass Guitar, Guitar, Piano, Bari Sax, Tenor Sax, Alto Sax, 2 Trumpets, Trombone and Vocalists. We play a wide variety of music: Big Band Swing, Blues, R&B, Funk, Latin, Pop/Rock and even Disco. You name it, we got it. We have over 2000 charts in our book. We tailor our music selection for your event.

We currently have 4 great vocalists that sing with our band. 2 female vocalists and 2 male vocalist. This band is made up of professional musicians in the Chicago land area. The band can site read music very well so we can do un-rehearsed requests! Please note that the live recording of "Spinning Wheel", "Sway" and "Feelin Good" were songs that the band played for the very first time (Everyone in the band sight read the tunes including our vocalist).

We have a great new state of the art sound system that we use. We like to mic the entire band to get the best mix for the room. We can use the sound system to do a DJ/Live Band mix if desired. In addition, we have a wireless mic for toasts, prayers, etc.

We have a 5 star gigmaster rating and have received rave reviews from our many weddings.

• These guys are awesome! From the moment I sent them an email, they kept in contact and were quick to respond to all my requests. They were amazing even before they actually performed at my wedding reception because the communication went so smooth. At the actual reception on July 10, 2010, they blew everyone away!
